Brewmasters fall short of predictions, find way to beat Steel Reign, 123.75-111.15
Both teams fell short of their projected point totals, but Brewmasters did enough to take down Steel Reign, coming out on top with a 123.75-111.15 victory. Brewmasters grabbed an early 16.00-point lead on Thursday. Steel Reign bounced back to take the lead early Sunday, powered by Aaron Rodgers (19.65 points) and Saquon Barkley (17.6). Unphased, Brewmasters pulled it together later that night, as Keenan Allen (36.8 points) and Ben Roethlisberger (24.05) put them back ahead for good. Brewmasters ends the season on a high note, but they'll miss the postseason with a record of 5-8. Steel Reign will also be home for the playoffs, finishing at 5-8.
While allowing only 13 points, surrendering 308 yards, and forcing 2 fumbles against the Cowboys, the Saints defense put up 15 points this week. Their scoring output more-than-doubled their 6.61-point projection and was much higher than their 9-point season scoring average. The Saints defense will face the Buccaneers next week.

Well Brewmasters, the good news is that we won this matchup by 12.6 points. Even better news is that we've proven we're better than this... as a matter of fact, our team's scoring average through 12 weeks was 138.57. So while we're happy to have earned this victory, let's "regress" back up to where we know we can be!
