Running Wild top projections, defeat G-Men in 175.01-138.20 rout
Running Wild outperformed expectations, cruising to a 175.01-138.20 victory over G-Men, who fell short of projections. G-Men grabbed a 9.00-point lead on Thursday, but it was all Running Wild after that. They were led by Todd Gurley II (33.1 points) and Baker Mayfield (32.98). Cam Newton (237 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 29 Rush Yds) and Saquon Barkley (48 Rush Yds, 81 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) were the leaders for G-Men in the loss. Running Wild (3-2) will look to earn another W against Next Man Up!, while G-Men (2-3) attempt to get some positive momentum against TheLegacy.
Baker overachieved for the third time this season, scoring 18 points against his 6.12-point projection. During a 28-18 win over the 49ers, he made 15 tackles and recorded a sack. Baker ranks #1 among fantasy Ss this season and will face the Vikings next week.
Sunday Early
There were several players with big-time moments on both teams early Sunday, but it was Running Wild who claimed the lead, 171.61-138.20. Running Wild
Running Wild (3-2) are set to square off against Next Man Up! (1-4) in Week 6. Running Wild will need to prep for the fact that Kenny Golladay has a bye in Week 6. Next Man Up! won't have Mark Ingram. Over the last three weeks, Running Wild have scored 168.52 points per game, while Next Man Up! have averaged just 110.63 per contest.
G-Men
Coming up next week, G-Men (2-3, seventh-place) will look to get back in the win column against TheLegacy (3-2, sixth-place). G-Men might have to rearrange the deck some with Kerryon Johnson out on bye next week. TheLegacy will be without Matt Prater.
