Spoon brush off predictions, come back to defeat Gritz Blitz in 120-89 rout

Spoon exceeded their projected point total, cruising to a 120-89 victory over Gritz Blitz, which fell short of projections. Spoon got out to an early 4-point lead on Thursday. Gritz Blitz came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by the Baltimore Ravens defense (36 points) and Melvin Gordon III (16). Not to be deterred, Spoon made a run on Monday night with their back against the wall, as the Los Angeles Rams defense (23 points) and Golden Tate (13) put them back in the lead for good. Spoon (1-0) will look to add to their success against Baytown Cowboys, while Gritz Blitz (0-1) attempt to right the ship against Standing4Flag.
