Lapac Machine come up short of projections, succumb to Ale iz Morave, 94-80
There's no sugarcoating it, Lapac Machine didn't do their job, at least based on projections, as Ale iz Morave secured a 94-80 victory. Ale iz Morave jumped out to a 51-point lead on Saturday behind 51 points from DeAndre Hopkins (10 Rec, 170 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Ka'imi Fairbairn (5-5 FG, 53 long, 2-2 XP) and never looked back. Russell Wilson (237 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 15 Rush Yds) and Christian McCaffrey (50 Pass Yds, 53 Rush Yds, 67 Rec Yds, 1 Off. TD,) were the leading performers for Lapac Machine in the loss. This marks the second time this season Ale iz Morave have gotten the best of Lapac Machine, after winning 100-77 in their last matchup. Ale iz Morave improve to 8-7 for the season, while Lapac Machine fall to 7-8.
Hopkins overachieved for the seventh time this season, scoring 29 points against his 12.37-point projection. During a 29-22 win over the Jets, he caught 10 passes for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns. Hopkins ranks #24 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Eagles next week.
