Disco Stu manage to knock off Steel Falcons in 106-84 rout despite coming up short of expectations

Both teams were unable to bring their A game, coming up short of their projected point totals, but Disco Stu did enough to take down Steel Falcons, rolling to a 106-84 victory. Disco Stu earned an early 2-point lead on Thursday. Steel Falcons came back to take the lead during the early slate on Sunday, powered by Julio Jones (14 points) and the Baltimore Ravens defense (7). Not to be deterred, Disco Stu rallied later that afternoon, as Ben Roethlisberger (17 points) and Julian Edelman (9) put them back ahead once and for all. This marks the third time this season Disco Stu have beaten Steel Falcons, after winning 123-122 in their last matchup. Disco Stu will look to clinch the championship next week, while Steel Falcons attempt to bounce back and lock up 3rd Place.

Coach Talk

Disco Stu
This sport is all about creating mismatches. Fueled by some monster yardage production from our running backs, our team created a noticeable disparity this week. Our backfield logged 172 more yards from scrimmage than the RBs of Steel Falcons (326 total yards to 154), as we ultimately nearly quadrupled them at the position, 49 points to 13.

We were just taking it easy so our guys could dominate in Week 16, right? The seven offensive position starters (three WRs, three RBs, one TE) on Steel Falcons collectively put up 405 yards and just one touchdown this past week. Our opponent's skill players definitely outperformed us by logging 601 yards and three scores.
