Dead Again fall short of projections, lose to DARC NARC in 144.1-92.9 rout
There's no way around it, Dead Again underdelivered, at least according to projections, as DARC NARC cruised to a 144.1-92.9 win. The matchup was over before it really even started, as DARC NARC leapt out to a 29.1-point lead on Thursday behind impressive performances from Stefon Diggs and Latavius Murray. Diggs caught 11 passes for 123 yards for 23.3 points, while Murray caught 2 passes for 16 yards (5.8 points). Patrick Mahomes (304 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD) and Jake Elliott (3-3 FG, 37 long, 2-2 XP) did their part for Dead Again in the loss. DARC NARC (2-2) will look to add to their success against Soonerjack, while Dead Again (2-2) will face Roughnecks in an effort to right the ship.
Elliott (152 Rush Yds, 88 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) scored 34 points in a 26-24 win over the Lions in Week 4. His scoring output was 72.4% more than his 19.72-point projection and was much higher than his 21.53-point season scoring average. Elliott ranks #20 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Texans next week.
