Although they were stuck with the No. 14 overall selection, Hangovers held their ground, building a roster capable of beating any team in OklahomIraqis League NFC. The team is particularly talented at receiver, as Davante Adams, Tyler Lockett, and Demaryius Thomas are slated to combine for the 3rd-highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league. Hangovers are projected to finish with a record of 9-4 (2,264 points), good enough for 4th.

  • Cam Newton

Biggest Steal: What a outstanding early bargain for Hangovers, who picked up Newton with the 1st pick of the 6th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 47. Following a season in which he threw for 3,302 yards and 22 TDs with 16 interceptions and accumulated 754 yards and 6 TDs, totaling 323 fantasy points, Newton is projected to score 396 fantasy points with the Panthers. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Tyler Lockett

Stretch Pick: You must have timed out, right? It was an autopick. There isn't any other explanation for the decision to draft Lockett in the 5th round, about four rounds earlier than his ADP of 127. Maybe you're onto something, though. Projected to score 239 fantasy points this season with the Seahawks, he seems set to top last year when he grabbed 45 balls for 555 yards and 2 TDs to earn 102 fantasy points. Lockett will slot in as the No. 2 WR for Hangovers, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • Patience is a virtue. With the selection of TE O.J. Howard (No. 126 overall), you became the last owner in the league to draft a tight end.

  • Week 11 will bring a tough challenge for Hangovers, as they have three players on a bye (Duke Johnson Jr., Alfred Morris, and Cordarrelle Patterson). Fortunately, your Week 11 opponent, Roughnecks, will be facing a similar struggle with four players getting the week off.

  • Hangovers have one of the least challenging schedules in the late stages in OklahomIraqis League NFC according to projections with a strength of schedule for the last four weeks ranked as the 4th easiest. Even so, for the full season, Hangovers should expect a pretty fair schedule ranked as the 7th hardest.

  • In spite of offensive openings at QB, RB, and TE in the 5th round, Hangovers drafted WR Tyler Lockett at No. 70, the 3rd flex pick in the league.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
