CC Creampuffs smirk at predictions, defeat South River Korbs in 139.95-118.85 rout
CC Creampuffs outperformed expectations, cruising to a 139.95-118.85 victory over South River Korbs, who fell short of projections. CC Creampuffs grabbed a 76.1-point lead on Saturday behind a combined 61 points from DeAndre Hopkins (10 Rec, 170 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Ka'imi Fairbairn (5-5 FG, 53 long, 2-2 XP) and never looked back. Dalvin Cook (136 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 27 Rec Yds) and Joe Mixon (129 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) led the charge for South River Korbs in the loss. CC Creampuffs improve to 7-8 for the season, while South River Korbs fall to 4-11.
Fairbairn overachieved for the fourth time this season, scoring 22 points against his 9.4-point projection. During a 29-22 win over the Jets, he made all 5 of his FG attempts. Fairbairn ranks #72 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Eagles next week.
CC Creampuffs
Hey, we admire the confidence, CC Creampuffs. Starting a player with zero points (Kerryon Johnson), while still getting a win... talk about arrogant. Try those shenanigans next week and see what happens.
South River Korbs
Unless South River Korbs wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing enough chances" doesn't fly as an excuse this time around. As a group, our trio of pass-catchers (two WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 13 times in Week 15. With only seven total receptions, that group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
