With the 18th-ranked point total in the league for the week, Washington Redskins were fortunate to earn a win against a team that had an even worse week, coming out on top with a 166.64-144.74 win over Denver Broncos. Denver Broncos jumped out to a 11.2-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but Washington Redskins held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Philip Rivers, who passed for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns for 28.74 points, and Corey Grant, who racked up 69 yards from scrimmage (12.9 points), while Aaron Rodgers (18.04 points) and Dalvin Cook (13) carried the flag for Denver Broncos in the loss. Washington Redskins (1-1) will look to build on their success against Miami Dolphins, while Denver Broncos (0-2) face Pittsburgh Steelers in an effort to right the ship.
