While allowing 23 points, surrendering 444 yards, and intercepting a pass against the Rams, the Broncos defense registered 13 points this week. Bitterness
Identifying mismatches is a big component to winning in football. Fueled by some stellar yardage production from our ball-carriers, our team really made that happen this week. Our three starting backs logged 170 more total yards than the RBs of Doc's Devils (307 yards from scrimmage to 137), as we ultimately thoroughly dominated them at the position (59.7 points to 16.7).
Doc's Devils
Talk about under-utilized. As a group, the starting backfield for Doc's Devils collectively registered only three targets this past week. Tell those quarterbacks to check down a little more often in Week 7!
