Despite top scorer Beckham Jr., Wildebeasts fall to Tds and Beer in 100.72-95.98 battle
Wildebeasts had the top scorer in the league this week with WR Odell Beckham Jr. racking up 38.38 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Tds and Beer, who narrowly earned a 100.72-95.98 win. It wasn't nearly as close as the final score indicates, as Tds and Beer led 100.72-80.28 heading into Monday night. Wildebeasts came roaring back behind Alex Smith, who passed for 275 yards for 15.7 points. David Johnson (55 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 16 Rec Yds) and Patrick Mahomes (313 Pass Yds, 13 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) did the heavy lifting for Tds and Beer in the victory. Tds and Beer improve to 4-1 on the season, while Wildebeasts fall to 0-5.
While racking up 116 yards from scrimmage against the Eagles, Diggs tallied 22.6 points this week. He scored 36% more than his 16.62-point projection and overachieved for the third time this season. Diggs ranks #34 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Cardinals next week.
Tds and Beer
Listen Tds and Beer, we're "glass half full" kind of coaches. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring's slipped lately, we'll choose to take the optimistic route. Averaging 116.78 points through Week 4, our crew has shown it's more than capable of outproducing the 100.72 we needed to win this past week!
Wildebeasts
Your starting QB tossed one interception and not a single touchdown? Maybe we need to go back and review the game tape: Did Alex Smith appear rattled back there in the pocket, or were the Jaguars just that strong defending the pass? What do you think? Do we keep rolling with him as the starting QB of Wildebeasts?
