Demoni come up short of predictions, lose to Nikšica, 102-93
There's no way around it, Demoni underperformed, at least compared to projections, as Nikšica came from behind to earn a 102-93 victory. After trailing 93-77 heading into Monday night, Nikšica roared back behind Robert Woods, who caught 4 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown for 13 points, and Greg Zuerlein, who made both of his FG attempts (12 points). Saquon Barkley (142 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 10 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Philip Rivers (401 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) carried the flag for Demoni in defeat. Nikšica (4-7) will look to rack up another W against Državniposo, while Demoni (7-4) will attempt to develop some positive momentum against Alcatraz Jackals.
Against the Falcons in Week 11, Elliott scored 25 points to beat his 15.76-point projection. He racked up 201 yards from scrimmage and ran for a touchdown to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Nikšica this week. Next week, Elliott will square off against the Redskins.
Thursday
Both teams had players with highlight-reel plays on Thursday, but it was Nikšica who claimed the lead, 25-16. For Nikšica, Aaron Rodgers had a 54-yard touchdown pass and a 24-yard touchdown pass. Davante Adams made the highlight reel for Demoni with a 57-yard catch and a 41-yard catch.
Sunday Early
Ezekiel Elliott had a 23-yard touchdown run for Nikšica, helping the team to a 71-65 lead.
Nikšica
Hey, we admire the confidence, Nikšica. It's a bold move to deploy a player with zero points (Demaryius Thomas), while still earning a win! All we ask is to please limit that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the regular season. Do it when the postseason rolls around, and we'll be finished.
Demoni
Fortunately, Demoni, this week's problem isn't exactly a brain teaser. Going with the Tennessee Titans defense in a fantasy matchup where your opposition tallied 102 points... let's do a little research ahead of time in Week 12.
