TheRapists come up short of expectations, lose to Schmo and Cows, 88.06-70.30

There's no sugarcoating it, TheRapists didn't do their job, at least compared to projections, as Schmo and Cows earned a 88.06-70.30 win. Schmo and Cows never trailed in this one after taking a 3.90-point lead on Thursday behind the Jacksonville Jaguars defense (6 points). Travis Kelce (7 Rec, 77 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and the Los Angeles Rams defense (15 Pts Allowed, 294 Yds Allowed, 3 Turnovers) were the leaders for TheRapists in the loss. This marks the first time this season Schmo and Cows have gotten the best of TheRapists, after falling 111.32-95.78 in their last matchup. Schmo and Cows will look to not lose that winning feeling in next week's semifinals, while TheRapists attempt to bounce back and lock up 5th Place.

Coach Talk

Schmo and Cows
Hey, exploiting mismatches is the key to football, right? Fueled by a thrilling showing from Andrew Luck, we thoroughly outplayed TheRapists at the quarterback position this past week (27.16 points to 10.7). Luck went 27-for-41 for 399 yards, two TDs, and an INT in a three-point victory over the Texans.
TheRapists
Here's a list of scenarios where it's borderline excusable to go 0-for-2 in sports: A double-fault in tennis, a hitter's line in baseball, and the Jazz facing MJ's Bulls in the Finals. That's just about it. Going 0-for-2 on field goal attempts this past week? Sounds like Chris Boswell might be kicking himself to the waiver wire following this performance.
