There's no way around it, Ashely's Dragons dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as Sat🏈 secured a 111.26-97.10 victory. Ashely's Dragons nabbed a 7.2-point lead on Saturday behind Demaryius Thomas (8.9 points) and Phillip Lindsay (6.4), but Sat🏈 held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Todd Gurley II, who racked up 124 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns for 29.4 points, and Joe Mixon, who ran for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns (26 points). Christian McCaffrey (50 Pass Yds, 53 Rush Yds, 67 Rec Yds, 1 Off. TD,) and David Johnson (33 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 68 Rec Yds) carried the flag for Ashely's Dragons in the loss. This marks the first time this season Sat🏈 have taken down Ashely's Dragons, after falling 115.28-100.24 in their last matchup. Sat🏈 will look to clinch the league title next week, while Ashely's Dragons seek to bounce back and finish the season with a win in the 3rd Place game.
Facing the Raiders in Week 15, Mixon ran for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns. In doing so, he put up 26 points to scored 67.0% higher than his 15.57-point projection, the highest percentage of any player on Sat🏈 this week. Next week, Mixon will square off against the Browns.
