REAPERS come up short of predictions, succumb to SchMoke's Goons, 94.96-75.08

There's no way around it, REAPERS underdelivered, at least based on projections, as SchMoke's Goons secured a 94.96-75.08 victory. SchMoke's Goons never trailed in this one after grabbing a 4.5-point lead on Saturday behind Chris Herndon (5.3 points). Julio Jones (6 Rec, 82 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and the Minnesota Vikings defense (17 Pts Allowed, 193 Yds Allowed) led the charge for REAPERS in the loss. This marks the second time this season SchMoke's Goons have taken down REAPERS, after winning 75.3-72.24 in their last matchup. SchMoke's Goons will look to keep winning in next week's semifinals, while REAPERS seek to bounce back and finish the season with a win in the 5th Place game.

Coach Talk

SchMoke's Goons
This sport is all about creating mismatches. Thanks to great performances by Joe Mixon and Ezekiel Elliott, our crew definitely took that to heart this past week. We nearly quadrupled REAPERS at running back (35.8 points to 9.2). Mixon had 130 total yards and two TDs, while Elliott chipped in with 128 yards.
REAPERS
"Not getting enough looks" really isn't an excuse this week for REAPERS. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) collectively got a whopping 32 targets in Week 15. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group reeled in just 19 balls.
