Pick Six defeat Serenity for fifth straight win in 189.38-131.92 rout
Pick Six extended their win streak to five games with a easy win over Serenity, cruising to a 189.38-131.92 victory. Serenity got out to a 9.50-point lead on Thursday, but it was all Pick Six after that. They were led by Cam Newton (42.48 points) and Mike Evans (32). The New York Giants defense (35 Pts Allowed, 510 Yds Allowed, 4 Turnovers) and Julio Jones (6 Rec, 118 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) did their part for Serenity in defeat. Pick Six (6-5) will look to keep it rolling against Purple Haze III, while Serenity (4-7) match up against Falconsfan4life in an effort to get back in the win column.
Evans (6 Rec, 120 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) scored 32 points against the Giants in Week 11. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 13.59-point projection and was much higher than his 14.52-point season scoring average. Evans ranks #39 among all fantasy players this season and will face the 49ers next week.
Sunday Early
Both teams had players with big-time moments early Sunday, but it was Pick Six who took the lead, 162.68-105.62. Cam Newton had a 82-yard pass for Pick Six, while Mike Evans had a 41-yard touchdown catch. Julio Jones made the highlight reel for Serenity with a 34-yard touchdown catch.
Sunday Late
Josh Adams had a 28-yard touchdown run for Pick Six, helping the team to a 175.88-116.62 lead.
Pick Six
Hey, the key to football is exploiting the mismatches. Not only did we double up Serenity at WR (47.5 points to 23.7), we also nearly tripled them at QB (42.48 points to 14.82).
Serenity
"Not getting enough looks" isn't a valid excuse this week for Serenity. As a group, our four pass-catchers (three WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 20 times in Week 11. Chemistry could be an issue, as that group notched just 12 receptions.
