Madden Legend come up short of expectations, lose to Da Waterboyz! in 150.75-128.38 rout

There's no easy way to say it, Madden Legend dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as Da Waterboyz! rolled to a 150.75-128.38 win. Da Waterboyz! got out to a 1.50-point lead on Thursday behind Calais Campbell and never let it go. The Detroit Lions defense (3 Pts Allowed, 279 Yds Allowed, 1 Turnovers) and Alvin Kamara (51 Rush Yds, 36 Rec Yds) did their part for Madden Legend in the loss. This marks the second time this season Da Waterboyz! have knocked off Madden Legend, after falling 163.86-158.7 in their last matchup. Da Waterboyz! will look to keep it rolling in next week's semifinal round, while Madden Legend attempt to rebound and lock up 5th Place.

Football is all about creating mismatches. Thanks to a solid showing by Tom Brady, we nearly tripled Madden Legend at the quarterback position this past week (35.32 points to 12.52). Brady went 27-for-43 for 358 yards and three TDs in a 34-33 loss to the Dolphins.

Unless Madden Legend wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing many opportunities" isn't really an excuse this week. Our four pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 20 times in Week 14. With only 10 total receptions, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
