Someone get Chip Kelly on the line because it's time to make moves. Projected to finish 11th in Hiawatha Elite League with a record of 4-9-0 (1,342 points), Polska Pierogi will have to get creative if they want to reach the postseason. They stocked up on pass-catching weapons early on, using three of their first five selections to pick up WRs Dez Bryant (first round), Michael Floyd (fourth round), and Kelvin Benjamin (fifth round). They also built one of the best QB tandems in the league, as they added Ben Roethlisberger and Andy Dalton.

Polska Pierogi should use Week 9 to consider life's great mysteries, like why there's only one word for thesaurus. That's still time better spent than checking fantasy football that week. They have four players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have one of the hardest schedules. Polska Pierogi could run into an early buzz saw, as the first four games of their season are projected to be more difficult than the league average.

Draft Notes

  • A Dominating Duo

RB and QB are both projected to be really solid units for Polska Pierogi.

  • No Back-Up No Cry

Ignoring roster depth, Polska Pierogi chose only one player at three different positions (TE, DEF, and K).

  • A Low Floor, but a High Ceiling?

Polska Pierogi nabbed a sleeper in Laquon Treadwell with pick No. 160.

  • Mr. Mendoza

Theo Riddick is owned in only 2% of all Yahoo! leagues. Let's hope that a.) Polska Pierogi has some solid inside information, or b.) he's a close friend of the family.

  • A Versatile Combination

Theo Riddick can hurt opponents with his hands as well as his feet. He ranks third among RBs with 575 projected receiving yards.

Player Analysis

    • Dez Bryant, WR
    • Round 1, Pick 9
Which Do You Want First, the Good News or the Bad?

Despite being an above-average player at his position, the selection of Dez Bryant had less value than any other pick of the round.

    • Lamar Miller, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 16
    Better Lucky Than Good?

The rest of Hiawatha Elite League overlooked a gem, and Polska Pierogi made the smartest value pick of the round by taking Lamar Miller.

    • Michael Floyd, WR
    • Round 4, Pick 40
    Rethinking That One

Michael Floyd may not justify his 40th overall draft pick if projections hold true. Currently, he is estimated to fall outside the NFL's top-30 in both yards (34th with 943) and TDs (32nd with 6.3).

    • K. Benjamin, WR
    • Round 5, Pick 57

Kelvin Benjamin may not justify his 57th overall draft pick if projections hold true. Currently, he is estimated to fall outside the NFL's top-20 in both yards (30th with 964) and TDs (22nd with 7.3).

    • B. Roethlisberger, QB
    • Round 6, Pick 64
    Biggest Steal

Polska Pierogi may have found a gem in the sixth round, grabbing Ben Roethlisberger (64th overall pick vs. ADP of 45.3).

Best Available

While Polska Pierogi is projected to have four subpar positions, TE is clearly their worst unit and should be upgraded first.

    • Vance McDonald
    • Rank 145, ADP 138
    • Jordan Cameron
    • Rank 156, ADP 135
    • Clive Walford
    • Rank 162, ADP 129
    • Kyle Rudolph
    • Rank 194, ADP 127

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
