Veni Vidi Vici! Latin for "I came, I saw, I conquered", this perfectly describes the drafting tactics of Lacy's out Dan!, who yielded a projected third-place finish (8-4-1, 1,494 points) in Hiawatha Premier League. With their first five picks, Lacy's out Dan! aimed for balance, selecting QB Ben Roethlisberger (47th overall), RBs LeSean McCoy (23rd) and Mark Ingram (26th), and WRs Odell Beckham Jr. (2nd) and Randall Cobb (50th). They also landed the top RB tandem in the league, as they added McCoy and Ingram to the team.

Lacy's out Dan! should use Week 8 to finally build that mini trainyard. Really just about anything other than checking fantasy football will do. They have four players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Based on their opponents' projected points, they have the weakest slate. Along with having the easiest overall schedule, Lacy's out Dan! has the league's easiest first four games and second-most difficult last four games of the season.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
