It doesn't matter how you get to the playoffs, it only matters that you get there. He-Man is a squad built to get there and is projected to finish sixth in Hiawatha Elite League with a record of 7-6-0 (1,354 points). They went after guys who can tote the rock with their early picks, using three of their first five picks to scoop up RBs Adrian Peterson (first round), Mark Ingram (second round), and Giovani Bernard (fourth round). These guys could be the key to the season for He-Man, as they are the top RB duo in the league.
Whether by good fortune or well-planned strategy, He-Man has secured a favorable bye week schedule for their superstars. Of their top five players in projected points, none share a common off week. Looking at the entire season, they have one of the hardest slates. Corresponding with the second-most grueling overall schedule, He-Man also has the second-toughest first four games of the season.
Draft Notes
-
On Autopilot
Picking starting RBs should be an effortless exercise most weeks for He-Man, as there's a healthy projected point difference between their third-ranked (Giovani Bernard) and fourth-ranked (Ryan Mathews) RBs.
-
No Back-Up No Cry
Ignoring roster depth, He-Man chose only one player at three different positions (TE, DEF, and K).
-
A Low Floor, but a High Ceiling?
He-Man nabbed a sleeper in Jameis Winston with pick No. 167.
-
Mr. Mendoza
David Johnson is owned in only 2% of all Yahoo! leagues. Let's hope that a.) He-Man has some solid inside information, or b.) he's a close friend of the family.
Player Analysis

Feed Thy BeastAdrian Peterson will get the ball early and often, projected to finish second in the league with 333 touches.
-
- Mark Ingram, RB
- Round 2, Pick 23
TraditionalistHe-Man stuck to the tried-and-true fantasy strategy of going RB-RB to start the draft, nabbing Adrian Peterson and Mark Ingram right off the bat.
-
- E. Sanders, WR
- Round 3, Pick 26
Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner?Guide to making the playoffs and winning the championship in your league: Step 1, create team. Step 2, draft Emmanuel Sanders. He was the sixth-most-owned player by playoff teams, as well as the fifth-most-owned player by championship teams.
-
- G. Bernard, RB
- Round 4, Pick 47
Apparently ADP is OverratedWith their fourth-round pick, He-Man pulled the trigger. They took Giovani Bernard at pick number 47 despite an ADP of just 104.8 across all Yahoo! leagues.

- Round 5, Pick 50
Let Me Check it AgainWhy can't I find Mike Wallace on my draft cheat sheet? Oh wait, here he is under "mid-to-late round flier."

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
