What's important 4th and Inches is that you have fun, regardless of the final score. Like that quote from Vince Lombardi, "Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing." Oh wait no, that's not the right quote for this. Turns out there aren't many quotes about having fun and losing, so let's just get to the projections. 4th and Inches is expected to finish 11th in MIC WARS League with a record of 5-8-0 (1,534 points). RB depth won't be the issue this season as 4th and Inches loaded up, drafting Adrian Peterson (4th overall), Zac Stacy (25th), and Reggie Bush (32nd) with their first three selections. 4th and Inches will rely heavily on this group, as they are the best group of RBs in the league.

4th and Inches should just disappear for a while during Week 10. They have five players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the season as a whole, they have a weaker-than-average schedule. 4th and Inches has the opportunity to finish the season on a hot streak, as the last four games of their season are projected to be less difficult than the league average.

Draft Notes

  • On Autopilot

Picking starting RBs should be an effortless exercise most weeks for 4th and Inches, as there's a healthy projected point difference between their third-ranked (Reggie Bush) and fourth-ranked (Darren McFadden) RBs.

  • Stockpiling Talent at RB

4th and Inches should be in good shape with three position groups projected to be better-than-average. RB is definitely the strongest among them.

  • Great Idea, Poor Execution

4th and Inches will need some help from the waiver wire in Week 10, as their only TE (Garrett Graham) and only DEF (San Diego) will both be idle that week.

  • Beginning with a Bang

4th and Inches got off to a sizzling start, amassing the most projected points in the league during the first half of the draft.

  • A Dominating Duo

4th and Inches has a pair of fantasy MVPs in their lineup. Last season, two of their players (Zac Stacy and Reggie Bush) finished among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams.

  • A Low Floor, but a High Ceiling?

4th and Inches nabbed a sleeper in Miles Austin with pick No. 200.

Player Analysis

    • A. Peterson, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 4
    Does Adrian Peterson Enjoy Fajitas?

Because his total yardage figures are sizzling. Peterson is projected to rank fifth in the league with 1,643 all-purpose yards.

    • Zac Stacy, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 25
    Old Fashioned

4th and Inches stuck to the tried-and-true fantasy strategy of going RB-RB to start the draft, taking Adrian Peterson and Zac Stacy before targeting other positions.

    • Reggie Bush, RB
    • Round 3, Pick 32
    A Bit of a Reach

4th and Inches went out on a limb with their third-round pick. Across all Yahoo! leagues, Reggie Bush has an ADP of 60.6, but he was grabbed at pick No. 32. Patience is a virtue, 4th and Inches.

    • C. Patterson, WR
    • Round 4, Pick 53
    Returning to Greatness

If special teams contributions count in MIC WARS League, 4th and Inches may have found a gem in Cordarrelle Patterson. Including his 863 projected return yards, he ranks first in the league with 1,865 all-purpose yards.

    • Nick Foles, QB
    • Round 5, Pick 60
    4th and Inches's Stud Signal-Caller

Nick Foles is projected to rack up 304 points this year, enough to rank sixth among all QBs.

Best Available

While 4th and Inches is expected to be weak across three positions, DEF is definitely their weakest unit and an area of need.

    • Buffalo Defanse
    • Rank 215, ADP 138
    • Indianapolis Defanse
    • Rank 225, ADP 144
    • Baltimore Defanse

    • New York Defanse
    • Rank 242, ADP 126

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
