The GM of FantasyDaddy Aaron took the sixth overall pick in the draft and turned it into a pretty decent team. Unless of course they planned on winning, because if that was the plan, then it didn't go very well. FantasyDaddy Aaron will need to make some moves to improve their playoff chances, currently projected to finish eighth in MIC WARS League with a record of 6-7-0 (1,569 points). They waited until the eighth round to secure their top quarterback, picking up Robert Griffin III with the 107th overall selection. They landed a better-than-average group of RBs, as they added Eddie Lacy, Alfred Morris, Stevan Ridley, and Jeremy Hill.

Week 10 is not looking like a fun one for fantasy football. FantasyDaddy Aaron should look into the joys of scrapbooking, or bird-watching, or just keep FantasyDaddy Aaron away from the TV. It won't be pretty. They have five players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have one of the easiest slates. Corresponding with the second-easiest overall schedule, FantasyDaddy Aaron also has the second-easiest first four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • A Pair of Strengths

FantasyDaddy Aaron has two positional units projected to be better than the league average, WR and RB.

  • Golden Handcuff

FantasyDaddy Aaron hedged their bets by scooping up James Starks in the 12th round to back up Eddie Lacy, his Packers teammate (a first-round selection).

  • Team of Champions?

FantasyDaddy Aaron is fielding a team of fantasy MVPs. Last season, three of their players were among the top-20 players that were on the most championship rosters across all Yahoo! leagues: Eddie Lacy, Alshon Jeffery, and DeSean Jackson.

  • No Back-Up No Cry

Ignoring roster depth, FantasyDaddy Aaron chose only one player at three different positions (TE, DEF, and K).

  • FantasyDaddy Aaron Went All YOLO Here

Grabbing James Starks at pick 163 was just a bit of a stretch. Starks is owned on only a few rosters across all Yahoo! leagues.

Player Analysis

    • Eddie Lacy, RB
    • Round 1, Pick 6
Does Eddie Lacy Enjoy Gourmet Cuisine?

Because his projected yardage figures are tasty. Lacy is ranked eighth in the league with 1,538 all-purpose yards.

    • Alshon Jeffery, WR
    • Round 2, Pick 23
258 Excuses to Cheer for Alshon Jeffery

Jeffery ranks eighth in the MIC WARS League among wideouts with 258 projected fantasy points.

    • Alfred Morris, RB
    • Round 3, Pick 34
    Earning His Keep

Alfred Morris is expected to finish eighth in the NFL with 8.5 rushing TDs and fifth with 1,147 rushing yards.

    • Vernon Davis, TE
    • Round 5, Pick 62
    Milk Was a Bad Choice

And so was drafting Vernon Davis, the weakest value of the round.

    • T. Williams, WR
    • Round 6, Pick 79
Was the 79th Pick the Right Time for Terrance Williams?

FantasyDaddy Aaron apparently believes it is. The Cowboys' wide receiver is projected to improve to the tune of 200 points this year, after only putting up 146 last year.

Best Available

With four subpar positions on FantasyDaddy Aaron, DEF and TE are projected as especially weak units that should be upgraded first.

    • Indianapolis Defanse
    • Rank 225, ADP 144
    • Tim Wright

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
