Here's the tiebreaking criteria for the FIL (and all Yahoo leagues):
If, at the end of the fantasy regular season, 2 or more "wildcard" teams in the league finish with the same overall record, the following system will be used to break the tie:
1. Total fantasy points scored for the entire season.
2. Fantasy points scored in the final week of your league's regular season.
3. Fantasy points scored in the second-to-last week of your league's regular season, etc.
4. Random Coin Flip.
The exception to this is obviously the top spots of divisions, where which ties are broken by inter-division record. This scenario will not apply to this year's FIL divisional outcomes. Know that it's not possible to modify our league's tie-breaking criteria.

2015/2016 FIL buy-in update
After discussions with league members and weighing the results of the August poll (thanks to those of you who DID vote), I have decided to make the league buy-in $100. However, that will not be next year (2015) as the league will go with a $75 buy-in in 2015 to bridge the gap between the jump from $50 to $100. Going from $50 to $100 was deemed too steep of a jump by the league's "board of directors" - and felt that $75 would be a good intermediary amount as this league continues to grow. In 2015, the buy-in will be $75 and in 2016, $100. Beyond that.... it will be tough to envision going any higher than that. Thanks again to everyone who voted and gave their input... and good luck for the remainder of 2014!

2014 FIL Lottery Rules & Regulations
Each team is given 4 numbered bingo balls (ex. O-73), placed into a cage. Each ball is removed one at a time, starting with the 16th pick, followed by the 15th, 14th, 13th and so on- until the 2nd overall pick. Any team's bingo balls who already have an established draft slot that are pulled from the cage will be discarded until the next unselected team comes up. The last team to have one of their bingo balls selected will hold the 1st pick in the draft on August 25th.
The lottery will be recorded on my webcam, and is available to be viewed on Skype, as T.J. and Tyler did last year.
