The waiver rule has been amended again. We are reverting back to the original rule we had at the beginning of the year. We will now have a "Game Time - Tuesday 12PM PDT" rule.
How does this work?
All unowned players will be placed on waivers at the scheduled start time of their game. In Game Time Waivers, players on a bye week will be placed on waivers Monday night at 5:30pm pacific time.
What does this mean?
You can pickup players after noon Sunday as long as they haven't played yet. If they are in the 3:00 game then you can pick that player up until that time. Same thing for Sunday night and Monday Night games.
Why did I revert back?
The Sun-Tue rule allows Thursday night players to be added/dropped after there game.
Key Callouts:
I originally setup the league this year with the Game Time - Tuesday waiver rule. However, there appeared to be issues with teams dropping players mid day for players from noon games. I believe Yahoo had a flaw/bug that was allowing this. We need to monitor that to ensure it doesn't happen again. If it does happen, I will override the add/drop, but I anticipate this bug has be corrected by Yahoo. -
The waiver rules have been changed to place all free agents on waivers at the start of the games on Sunday. This will prevent any free agent pickups until after Tuesday waiver period is over. This will fix issues we've seen with free agent pickups mid day Sunday. Thursday night games/players are not included.
