Also, on a side note, I will put up a poll in the forums section of www.thestoleneye.com regarding the possibility of nerfing the quaterback position. It's getting a bit out of hand I think. -
The following teams have been locked from using the add/remove players option as a punishment for sucking so bad. Ball Breakers, Dumpheap, Cum Hose and Slack Jawed Yokels (yes, that's me) have all been locked. Good luck to all of the teams who made it to the Football For Smart People's championship playoff!

Just so there is no confusion, your keeper player next year cannot be a player that was drafted in any of the first 3 rounds, even if he is now a free agent.
Also, you cannot select a player that was listed as a keeper the previous year.
Teams will not be allowed to add/remove players if their team is eliminated from the championship bracket and also after the championship game is played. -
Your keeper player will be automatically drafted for you in the final round.

Keeper players are nearly locked in. Everyone did a great job picking their keeper player, everyone except Cum Hose... who never selected his player. Dumpheap selected two players, one who wasn't even eligible but I give Dumpy a pass and a little ribbon for his valiant effort. Cum Hose, you have until I go to bed tomorrow night to pick yours.

!!!!!!!Important information regarding keeper players and how to select them!!!!!!!
Your wondering why your team is currently filled with all the players you had on your squad at the end of last year. I know, what gives? Did you fuck it all up Cletus? The answer is NO! I didn't fuck it all up, at least not yet. Your players have remained intact because you have to select your keeper player. Whats a keeper player you ask? That's the one player from your team last year that you can bring back to help you lose again this year, as long as the player was not drafted in any of the first three rounds in last years draft. It's that simple. You check your team, pick a player you want to keep and make sure he was drafted in round 4 or later. It's that easy! The only thing left is for you to actually do it and I can help with that.
You have clicked "Football for Smart People" and your looking at the league main page. Near the top of the window is an option to select different seasons to view. It's a simple little drop down menu that has "Season:" and the year you want to select. From there, select last year and continue. Near the top of that page is a link to view draft results. This is how you will check if the player you want is eligible as a keeper player.
You have decided who your keeper player is going to be, you have made sure he is eligible. Now you have to select him. From your team homepage, the page with all your players on it, click keepers and select the player. IT'S THAT EASY!
You have until one week before the draft to select your keeper player. If you do not select a keeper player or your keeper is ineligible, I will assign your player for you based on input from the folks present in teamspeak the night before the draft. I won't go out of my way to screw you on your keeper player but I will not give a shit if you don't like the player I have selected. That is all on that topic.
Draft order this year will reflect last years final standings and will continue this way for years to come. The worst team gets the first pick. If this system is abused in any way where it is believed you are tanking games because you feel you are out of contention, you will not be asked to return in the future. We are all just here for fun and there is nothing on the line. There is no excuse for tanking games in here.
