  • Congratulations to 2 time, back to back, SUPERBALL Fantasy Football Champion BIG MAC. The final game was a great fantasy football game,

Championship: Big Mac Recovers Late to Eke Out a Victory over Rudeboy
Down 21.30 on Monday night, Big Mac came back, slipping by Rudeboy 101.48 - 99.80. Big Mac benefited from 25.10 points from Eric Decker and 22.98 from Colin Kaepernick. The tiny 1.68-point playoff victory was the fourth-smallest difference over all matchups this season. Big Mac has been unstoppable after winning their last six matchups in a row. Big Mac goes to 1-2 head-to-head this season against Rudeboy, avenging a Week 10 shellacking (101.12 - 41.44) the last time the teams met. Rudeboy got zero points from Vernon Davis, which might have made the difference in the outcome. Rudeboy ended the regular season in second place with a record of 10-4. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly better (first with 109.67). In their only other postseason game of the season, Rudeboy defeated The Mack Attack 2.0, 140.92 - 123.50. Rudeboy passed out their fair share of big losses this year, as they racked up five blowout victories on the season.
    Smooth Moves by Big Mac
    1.
With 25.10 points, Eric Decker ranked fourth in the league in scoring and beat his scoring projection by 120.9%, which was the highest percentage in the matchup.
With 22.98 points, Colin Kaepernick had the seventh-highest score in the league this week.
Benched the New Orleans Saints Defense, which had the lowest DEF score on the team with 7.00 points.
The 20.40 points scored by Jamaal Charles was the sixth-highest score of any RB in the league this week.
With only 4 of their 9 starters beating their projected points, Big Mac was still able to win.
    Toyota Missed Opportunities by Rudeboy
Picked up Jay Feely, who scored 10.00 points against a projected 7.08, but left him on the bench.
Rudeboy had 7 of their 9 starters score less than their projected points.
Vernon Davis did not score, with 0 points against a projected 8.43.
Alshon Jeffery fell short of his scoring projection with 7.60 points, just 62.1% of his projected 12.24.
With 6.00 points, Dan Bailey recorded only 76.3% of his 7.87-point scoring projection.
    What If
Big Mac would be 8-8 if they played Rudeboy every week.
Big Mac would have beaten five other teams besides Rudeboy this week.
Big Mac would be 10-3 if they played the same schedule as Rudeboy.
Big Mac would be 92-48 if they played every team every week.
Rudeboy would have lost to just two other teams besides Big Mac this week.
Big Mac would have lost to Rudeboy 140.92 - 133.12 had they played each other last week.
If they played the same schedule as Big Mac, Rudeboy would be 11-2.
If they played every team every week, Rudeboy would be 100-40.
    Game Notes
With the win, Big Mac has a six-game win streak, currently the longest in the league.
At 1.68 points, the margin of victory was the tightest of the week.
Two of the starters for Big Mac scored higher than the leading scorer for Rudeboy.
Heath Miller did little to help Big Mac, underperforming versus projections for the third straight game with 1.70 points against a projected 6.27.
Rudeboy got a combined 35.90 points from their WRs, the highest combined scoring output from the WR position for any team this week.
With the win, Big Mac remains undefeated in comeback games this season, improving to 2-0.
Rudeboy is now 1-2 in games that are close, including losses in their last two such contests.
The drafted players on Big Mac put up 98.3% of the team's points this week.

That last game note speaks loud, 98.3% from players he drafted, a good draft and nobody gets hurt. BIG MAC may be the new Matthew Berry, 2 years in and two championships, dpoe has been in for 5 years and never made the playoffs. Rudeboy in his second year made it to the playoffs. And if you look at the league history in the last 3 years, because it only goes back 3 years because at first it was Citizen Fantasy Football then yahoo took over, so we can only look back 3 years, but in the last 3 years the only team or teams not to be in the playoffs is Dpoe Roughriders and the new team Joseph Unreal Team. So Dpoe Roughriders I am calling you out and I am calling out everyone. We can’t let BIG MAC win 3. We will talk in the off season to get ready for draft day, maybe we could sit up a day to do a live draft on the internet. And I am thinking about starting another league for a little money. Con grats again BIG MAC and everyone on a good fantasy football season. I may not win every time but I am having a good time playing with some of my very best, enjoy the playoffs and Super Bowl and see you next year.

  • Congratulations to Big Mac and Rudeboy for making the finals!

The finals have come down to Big Mac our returning champion vs Rudeboy last year's last place team. Big Mac is looking to become SUPERBALL's first two time Champion and looking to go back to back. He has already done something that no one has done before by making two finals. Can Big Mac go back to back? Rudeboy has to given credit for building his team after the draft, his draft grade was a "D" according to the computer Rudeboy had the worst draft in the league. Rudeboy made 35 changes to his team vs only 8 made by Big Mac. So Rudeboy really worked the wavier wire and built a great team. The computer projection have Rudeboy winning a close game by 2.07 points, but we all know that when teams face Big Mac they seem to fall short of their projections, Big Mac may be a team of destiny. I am almost sure it will come down to Monday Night where Big Mac has Kaepernick as his QB and Rudeboy has Davis as his TE. This one is to close to call, in either case I will have to listen to someone close talk shit for a year. Big Mac or Rudeboy?
    Dec 21 1:08 PM
  • Congratulations to Rudeboy for making the finals!

The #1 vs #4 match up Big Mac vs Young Nupe has come down to the Monday night game. Big Mac has the Baltimore Kicker and Young Nupe has a Detroit Running Back. It is going to be a close finish, Young Nupe has Bell who is a back up, but Bush is questionable if he doesn't play then Bell will get starting RB carries, he was already the goal line back so look for double digits scoring from Bell. Baltimore's Kicker Tucker has average 10 fantasy points a week this season, so look for this fantasy match to go right down to the end.
    Dec 15 11:06 PM
  • Playoff time congrats to Big Mac and Young Nupe 2 years in a row in the playoffs and they square off in the #1 vs #4 match up. Big Mac is the returning Champ and let's see if can defend his title against Young Nupe who won 7 out of his last 8 to make the playoffs. Big Mac as defending Champ put up a hell of a season, winning 10 out of 11 after opening 1-2. 11 wins ties the record wins in a season, he now also hold the record for Strength of Schedule - Easiest with teams putting up a average score of 87.60 when they play the defending champ BIG MAC.

Also congrats to The Mack Attack 2.0 and Rudeboy who square off in the #2 vs #3 match up. The Mack Attack 2.0 is a returning Champ that won 2 years ago and missed the playoffs last year and is back in the playoffs trying to be the first 2 time Champ. Rudeboy is making his first playoff appearance and had a very good season and started out on fire but ended the season losing 3 out of his last 4.

The projections have a final of Big Mac vs The Mack Attack 2.0, if that happens we will have our first 2 time Champion. Or can Young Nupe or Rudeboy break though and win their first title.

Let the playoffs begin, and my the best team win!

  • This week in SUPERBALL2013 we have some big matchups first at the top of the standing we have Rudeboy vs The Mack Attack 2.0, the winner could be looking at the number one seed. Then we have a match up that could decide the last playoff spot, Big Mac vs Young Nupe, a win by Young Nupe will put him in the last playoff spot. BODY SNATCHERS AND Wardawgs have to win out to have a shot at making the playoffs. dpoe roughriders, Joseph's Unreal Team and Headbussas can only play spoiler at this point. All these match up are a repeat of week 2, last week was a repeat of week 1, and everyone that won in week 1 also won in week 10, will that trend continue. If so the playoffs are set and the teams at the top will be playing for seeding.

    Week 2 - Final Results

    Rudeboy 125.40
    vs
    The Mack Attack 2.0 85.24

  • A NEW LEAGUE RECORD

BIG MAC now has the record for the least points scored in one week. 41.44 is now the record for the least points, the old record was held by Rudeboy 44.82 in week 11 last year.

  • This week in SUPERBALL2013, all of the matchups were blowouts. Rudeboy remained in first place with a win over Young Nupe. Big Mac got the biggest boost in the standings this week, jumping from fifth place to third. The Mack Attack 2.0 fell from third to fourth. Rudeboy and Big Mac have both won three matchups in a row.

This week has the biggest match up of the year, Rudeboy at 5-1 vs SUPERNUPE at 5-1. After this week there will be one leader at 6-1. The other team will fall to 5-2 and be tied with the winner of Big Mac at 4-2 vs The Mack Attack 2.0 at 4-2. Yes this week 1 vs 2 and 3 vs 4, maybe a playoff preview, we have played 6 out of the 14 regular season games, after this week we are at the half way point. The two teams at 3-3 play the two teams at 1-5 and the two teams at 2-4 play each other. Note to all teams 6 losses is too many, if you lost 6 you are not going to make the playoffs this year. Last year we had 3 teams at 8-6 only 2 made the playoffs, so if you get to 6 losses chances are you will miss the playoffs.

Other league note, League Record Book, SUPERNUPE made a run at his own record for Biggest Blow Out the record : Single Week, All Time

    SUPERNUPE vs. The Mack Attack 2.0 - Week 16, Season 2012,.. 78.72
    This week : Single Week
    SUPERNUPE vs. Headbussas - Week 6,... 76.06

Some other records to shot for are that might be in play. Let’s first talk team points

  • NO MORE UNDEFEATED TEAMS LEFT!

That is the real story of week 4, after 4 weeks no more undefeated teams left but we do still have 2 win less teams. Early looks say this could be just like last year when 8 teams still had a chance to make the playoffs with 2 weeks left. This year Yahoo has added a weekly recap, that recaps the weeks action. There is a link under Week 4 Recaps

BODY SNATCHERS is New Number One
    View League Recap

And there are also recaps for each game. These recaps give insight into each matchup and let's you find out what might have happen. This game is not all skill, you need some luck and some breaks to win it all. Like this week Headbussas 3rd highest score and lost, BODY SNATCHERS 4th highest score and lost, The Mac Attack 2.0, 7th highest score and a win. Sometimes the best team doesn't win, that is sports.

    Week 4 Summary

Although BODY SNATCHERS lost to Young Nupe, they still managed to grab first place in SUPERBALL2013 this week, replacing SUPERNUPE. Four teams still sit on top of the league at 3-1. However, only 5.02 points stands between the top two teams. Young Nupe made the most headway, climbing from seventh place to fifth. SUPERNUPE wasn't as lucky, sinking from first to third.

  • Ok week 3 is in the books, we have 2 teams at 3-0 and 2 teams at 0-3. Let’s quickly recap week 3; SUPERNUPE moves to 3-0 and drops last years champ Big Mac to 1-2, BODY SNATCHERS keep rolling to 3-0 giving Rudeboy his first lost now 2-1. The Mack Attack 2.0 now 2-1 drops Young Nupe to 1-2, Wardawgs move to 2-1 and drop dpoe roughriders to 0-3, Joseph's Unreal Team gets his first win 1-2 and Headbussas is still winless at 0-3.

Now week 4, there are some great match ups we will break them down later.
    Sep 23 10:20 PM
  • Week One and what is the story Young Nupe putting up 151.18? Joseph’s Unreal Team putting up only 63.30? SUPERNUPE beating Wardawgs in the weeks closest game? No the story of week one is Rudeboy last year’s last place team beating Big Mac last year’s winner. Rudeboy who’s draft was graded a “D” put up 129 points and was the 2nd highest scoring team in the league. So the draft grades meant nothing in week one. Big Mac grade was a “B”, BODY SNATCHERS grade was an “A” and his team only put up 89.58 in a win over the newest team in the league Joseph's Unreal Team who got a “B” and a league low 63.30. But no one wins or lose in week one. So on to week two!

Week two matchups Young Nupe (1-0) vs Big Mac (0-1) will last year’s champ go to 0-2. Rudeboy (1-0) vs The Mack Attack 2.0 (1-0) will Rudeboy start 2-0. Joseph's Unreal Team (0-1) vs Wardawgs (0-1) who will start 0-2. A matchup of two of last years playoff teams BODY SNATCHERS (1-0) vs Headbussas (0-1) and SUPERNUPE (1-0) vs dpoe roughriders (0-1). Two teams looking to go 2-0 and two teams trying not to start 0-2.

  • The draft is done and the grades are in. And at the top BODY SNATCHERS

BODY SNATCHERS; Coinciding with a juicy draft position (second overall), BODY SNATCHERS had an outstanding performance. They're projected to finish first in SUPERBALL2013 League with a record of 11-3-0 (1,467 points). With five RBs on the roster, BODY SNATCHERS has quality and quantity at that spot; their RBs are projected to average 178 points this season, more than the league average of 166. They ended up with the best tandem of TEs in the league, as they added Jimmy Graham and Jordan Cameron.
SUPERNUPE: A masterful draft-day performance by the GM of SUPERNUPE turned the seventh overall pick into a projected second-place finish. They're expected to finish 11-3-0 (1,415 points) in SUPERBALL2013 League. SUPERNUPE jumped on ballcarriers early and often, using their first three selections to grab RBs Marshawn Lynch (7th overall), Steven Jackson (14th), and Reggie Bush (27th). They have the best combo of QBs in the league, as they added Tom Brady and Michael Vick.
Young Nupe; Young Nupe couldn't weave their first overall selection into fantasy gold. They're projected to end up sixth in SUPERBALL2013 League with a mark of 8-6-0 (1,400 points). With their first five picks, Young Nupe focused on balance, selecting QB Peyton Manning (20th overall), RBs Adrian Peterson (1st) and David Wilson (40th), and WRs Andre Johnson (21st) and Marques Colston (41st). They ended up with one of the best tandems of RBs in the league, as they added Peterson and Wilson.
Big Mac; Big Mac parlayed a solid draft slot (fifth overall) into a respectable performance. With a mark of 8-6-0 (1,434 points), they're projected to finish fifth in SUPERBALL2013 League. Big Mac jumped on ballcarriers early and often, using their first three selections to grab RBs Jamaal Charles (5th overall), Matt Forte (16th), and Chris Johnson (25th). In conjunction with that drafting strategy, they ended up with a solid set of RBs.

Joseph’s Unreal Team; Joseph's Unreal Team parlayed a solid draft slot (fourth overall) into a respectable performance. With a mark of 9-5-0 (1,441 points), they're projected to finish fourth in SUPERBALL2013 League. Joseph's Unreal Team jumped on ballcarriers early and often, using their first three selections to grab RBs C.J. Spiller (4th overall), Maurice Jones-Drew (17th), and Stevan Ridley (24th). In conjunction with that drafting strategy, they ended up with the highest-scoring quartet of RBs in the league.
Wardawgs; Wardawgs parlayed a solid draft slot (third overall) into a respectable performance. With a mark of 10-4-0 (1,437 points), they're projected to finish third in SUPERBALL2013 League. With their first five picks, Wardawgs focused on balance, selecting QB Drew Brees (18th overall), RBs Doug Martin (3rd) and Lamar Miller (38th), and WRs Brandon Marshall (23rd) and Reggie Wayne (43rd). They landed one of the most prolific combos of QBs in the league, as they added Brees and Eli Manning.

Headbussas,The Mack Attack 2.0, dpoe roughriders and Rudeboy, let’s just say you didn’t get a good grade on your draft and your notes are under Draft Central; Draft Grades. And there are more notes about every team there, many of the notes I post come from Yahoo Fantasy Football. And as someone who plays on a lot of sites, Yahoo has some of the best features and you can click around and find all kinds of fun stuff to look at.
