We should have every owner returning, so you guys know all the basic rules. We have a few changes we voted on at the end of last season. We added Fractional points, which will likely eliminate all ties. We extended the trade deadline back as far as yahoo allows. We added a dedicated TE spot. We now start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 WC, 1 Def, 1 K. We add 2 bench spots due to the TE. Also, the highest seed will win in case of any ties in the playoffs.
We also are finally going to see the effects of the rule we passed a couple of years ago. If you froze a 1st rounder last year, he now costs a 1st and a 4th. This only applies to Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Ray Rice, and Foster.
Let's plan on drafting the day before Labor day, as usual. League fee is $150. It's a good idea to give me more than 150 at the draft to cover your free agent costs. We will do free agents by YAHOO waiver budget again. Free agents cost 2 plus whatever you bid. I'll raise everyone's budget to 500. At the end of the year you owe 2 per move, plus whatever is gone from your waiver budget.
Prizes are $850 + free agent money for the champion
$450 for 2nd place
$150 for 3rd
$100 for the loser bracket champ.
$30 for loser bracket runner up.
We still have the $40 per week high score money from weeks 1-13 as well.
If you think of any other rules you want to vote on, please bring them to the draft. At this point in the year things we vote on will probably have to go into effect for the 2014 season, unless we have a full league consensus. -
