  • Ok the regular season is over, and big ups to everyone, what a great season of Fantasy Football, in week 13; 8 out of 10 teams had a chance to make the playoffs and in week 14; 7 out of 10 teams had a chance to make the playoffs and as it worked out the team in 8th in week 14 and 7th moved up to 4th in the final week to make the playoffs. The Wardawgs are the only team to make it back to the playoffs from last year. Last year's Champ The Mack Attack 2.0 was knocked out in week 13 and then knocked out SUPERNUPE in week 14 with his highest point total of the year, thanks to 41 from Seattle D. SUPERNUPE has missed the playoffs for the first time in league history! The Wardawgs beat the BODYSNATCHERS to keep them out of the playoffs. The BODYSNATCHERS who ran off a league record 7 game winning streak missed the playoffs by ending with a 3 game losing streak. Last year's top 3 all gone the Wardawgs are the only team to make it back!

On to this year's playoff, the hottest team and the best overall team the Headbussas go into the playoff with a 5 game winning streak. The Headbussas have been the highest scoring team in the league all year and was a hard luck loser early in the season but they are the clear favorite going into the playoffs as the #3 seed, The Wardawgs are the #4 seed and are on a 3 game winning streak and are the only team returning to the playoffs and are the 4th highest scoring team in the league. The #1 seed Mr_Ambition14 was the 5th highest scoring team and started the season 5-0, 7-1 then lost 4 in a row, then won 2 to make the playoffs, this team peaked early and may be done. The same for the #2 seed Big Mac who also was 7-1 to start the season, then lost 3 in a row and won 2 of 3 to make the playoffs. Big Mac had the first pick and the best draft and got off to a good start but may have peaked early because his team looks to be done. Big Mac is 8th in scoring and has lived a charmed season in his first year in fantasy football, will his good luck carry him.

Other things of note: Mr Dallas ended the season with a 10 game losing streak breaking his own record from last year. The BODY SNATCHERS had a league record 7 game winning steak this season and Rudeboy set the record for smallest margin of victory 0.22. The hardest strenght of schedule was SUPERNUPE and BODY SNATCHERS had the easiest schedule and the 2nd highest and 3rd highest scoring team in the league SUPERNUPE and dpoe roughriders did not make the playoffs. What a year!

  • One week left and no one has wrapped up a playoff spot up yet. 7 out of 10 teams have a chance to make it. Last year's champ The Mack Attack 2.0 is done, he can only play spoiler. The top 4 teams have their fate in their own hands. Mr_Ambition14, BODY SNATCHERS, Big Mac and the Headbussas a win and they are in. SUPERNUPE needs to win and a lost by one of the top 4 teams to get in. dpoe roughriders need to beat the Headbussas and SUPERNUPE to lose and a lost by Mr_Ambition14, BODY SNATCHERS or Big Mac. The Wardawgs to beat the BODY SNATCHERS and 2 of these teams to lose SUPERNUPE, dpoe roughriders Mr_Ambition14 or Big Mac. So this is like the first week of the playoffs, ever game has meaning so put your best team on the field. So let's see who makes it? It is still up for graps.
    Dec 3 9:16 PM
  • Ok 2 weeks left until the playoffs start and 8 out of 10 teams still have a shot at making the playoffs and winning it all. First I have to say good job everyone this has been a very good league everyone but Mr Dallas has shown up every week and put their best squad on field. And that is why everyone still has a shot. So good job!
    Nov 27 10:42 PM
  • Looking at the standings, I think it will take 8-6 to make the Playoffs with a tie breaker. The Headbussas will have to win the last 4 to make 8-6. The 5-5 teams can only lose one more game to make it to 8-6 and the 7-3 teams need 3 wins to lock up a playoff at 8-6 or 9-5 tie breakers could keep you out of the playoffs
    Nov 18 9:12 AM
  • Time to play yourself in are out of the playoffs. Here are last week’s recaps.

BODY SNATCHERS Wins Against Big Mac, Streak Climbs to Six

    BODY SNATCHERS (7-3) 108.70
    Big Mac (7-3) 78.56

BODY SNATCHERS earned their sixth straight win when they beat Big Mac 108.70 - 78.56. They were led by Calvin Johnson who had 24.70 points and Tony Gonzalez who got 24.20. Big Mac falls to third place with a 7-3 record. BODY SNATCHERS is 7-3 and has not lost since Week 4.

    dpoe roughriders (5-5) 92.70

SUPERNUPE got past dpoe roughriders 112.22 - 92.70 and logged the highest point total this week. These two teams have matching 5-5 records, but SUPERNUPE has a clear lead in points, 1,012.06 - 943.88. This win was revenge for a Week 1 108.64 - 93.66 upset loss to dpoe roughriders. To make matters worse, dpoe roughriders had a starter score zero points (Antonio Brown).

Wardawgs Beats Mr_Ambition14, Claims Sixth Place

    Wardawgs (5-5) 109.16
    Mr_Ambition14 (7-3) 83.04

Wardawgs took advantage of 25.46 points from Matthew Stafford and 20.00 from the Indianapolis Colts Defense to beat Mr_Ambition14 109.16 - 83.04. This win was revenge for a Week 1 102.26 - 99.08 close loss to Mr_Ambition14. Jamaal Charles led Mr_Ambition14 with 16.00 points while A.J. Green racked up 14.50. Wardawgs (5-5, 955.24 points) climbs into sixth place while Mr_Ambition14 (7-3, 1,007.02 points) stays in first place.

Headbussas Beats Rudeboy, Moves to 2-0 Head-to-Head

    Headbussas (4-6) 109.88
    Rudeboy (2-8) 84.42

Headbussas defeated Rudeboy 109.88 - 84.42 for a second win in as many head-to-head matchups. This week, Andrew Luck was the team leader, putting up 19.18 points. It was still quite a drop-off from the 24.48 points Tony Romo got the last time these teams played. This is the smallest margin of victory for Headbussas in two head-to-head matchups. They defeated Rudeboy 115.58 - 88.50 in Week 1.

The Mack Attack 2.0 Throat-Punches Mr Dallas, Climbs to Fifth Place

    The Mack Attack 2.0 (5-5) 102.04
    Mr Dallas (3-7) 68.38

The Mack Attack 2.0 clobbered Mr Dallas 102.04 - 68.38, making it two wins in as many head-to-head matchups. This week, Frank Gore led the way, getting 17.50 points. It was about the same output as the 17.90 points Brandon Marshall got the last time these teams played. The Mack Attack 2.0 started one player with zero points while Mr Dallas also served up one goose egg, meaning both teams left points off the scoreboard. The Mack Attack 2.0 now has a 27.72-point average margin of victory over Mr Dallas. They won 106.92 - 85.14 in Week 1.
    Nov 16 4:43 PM
  • Ok Week 10 is in the books almost, it looks like we will have 3 teams tied at the top at 7-3 and 4 teams tied for fourth at 5-5 and the Headbussas one game back at 4-6. everyone is still in this. Four week left until the playoffs, the trading deadline is Friday Nov. 16 so this is your last chance to put a TRADE together for the playoff push.
    Nov 12 2:19 PM
  • Ok week 7 was the half way point of the fantasy football season. Just so everyone knows the season is 14 weeks long and the playoffs are in week 15 and 16. The top 4 teams win loss make the playoffs and the first tie breaker is points scored. This league is very tight so it may come down to tiebreakers, if anyone wants to look at the tiebreakers, come to the league website type it in the search, we are using the default setting. Which bring me to my next note. I know some people are playing thur an app on a phone, which is fine but it does not show you everything the website does. For example app do not show the Commissioner's notes, the record book or Last Week's recap and so on and so on. So this week I am going to post this (Commish Notes) on the message board so everyone get a chance to see them. And I am going to post a game recap from Big Mac vs SUPERNUPE, this will let the app users to see some things the website has to offer.

This week I am not going to recap and preview every game, the key word here is parity. Yes PARITY, 2 teams out front with 6-1 records, 2 others in playoff position at 4-3 and 4 teams a game back at 3-4, The Headbussas at 2-5 are only 2 game out of playoff position and would have the first tiebreaker on everyone, cause Headbussas have out scored every team but one. Rudeboy at 1-6 can still dream of the playoff, it looks like 8-6 may make the playoffs, So everyone is still in it, game on!
    Oct 26 11:06 PM
  • Like Chris Berman saids "And that's why we play the games" Both streaks come to an end Mr_Ambition14 goes down, Big Mac pull off the upset, now both are 5-1. And Rudeboy gets a win, dropping SUPERNUPE to 3-3. dpoe roughriders come up with a big win beating last years champ The Mack Attack 2.0 now both are 3-3. In the battle of the brothers BODY SNATCHERS beat Mr Dallas now both teams are 3-3. Wardawgs stay alive and in the hunt by knocking off Headbussas now both teams are 2-4 only one game behind the 3-3 teams. Wow this thing is close after 6 weeks, 2 teams at 5-1, 7 teams at 3-3, 2 teams at 2-4 and 1 at 1-5 and at 1-5 that is only 2 game out of playoff position. So it is still anybody's league to win.

Week 7 matchups, 5-1 Big Mac vs 3-3 SUPERNUPE, SUPERNUPE needs a win to keep pace, Big Mac could move to 6-1 and pull a hammer lock on a playoff spot. The same goes for 5-1 Mr_Ambition14 who takes on 3-3 Mr Dallas. Can Mr_Ambition14 bounce back? 3-3 The Mack Attack 2.0 vs 2-4 Wardawgs and 3-3 BODY SNATHERS vs 2-4 Headbussas, both 2-4 teams need wins here. 1-5 Rudeboy goes for 2 in a row vs 3-3 dpoe roughriders. If Rudeboy wants to dream of making the playoffs he need to put a streak together now!

Some notes on week 6, Mr_Ambition14 better known as Christopher L Chandler is now a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. he crossed the burning sands on 10/15/12. So he might have lost on Fantasy Football this week, but he and his father SUPERNUPE were both big winners in life this weekend. But in Fantasy Football both put up thier worst point totals of the year. The two lowest scores of the week, while Rudeboy put up his best point total of the year and was still the third worst but enough to get a win. Also Big Mac has had the easiest schedule so far, while the Wardawgs and SUPERNUPE and Headbussas have had much harder games to win. Schedule strenght is points against, 3 teams have over 600 pts against, and 1 team has less than 500 pts against. Week 7 is the half way point so things should even out in the second half. And as I said before this is still anybody's league to win!

  • Week 5, it is Monday afternoon and we can call all the winners. In the game of the week SUPERNUPE beats The Mack Attack 2.0 putting both teams at 3-2. The other matchup of last year's playoff teams BODY SNATCHERS crushed Wardawgs, BODY SNATCHERS move to 2-3, Wardawgs now 1-4. Big Mac moves to 4-1 beating Mr Dallas who felt a sleep at the wheel again and drops to 3-2. Headbussas beat dpoe roughriders now both teams are 2-3. Mr_Ambition14 beats Rudeboy this is note worthy for a few reasons, Mr_Ambition14 is 5-0 and the record for the longest winning streak is 6,,by Wardawgs last year, Rudeboy is 0-5 and the record for the longest losing streak is also 6, by Mr Dallas last year.

So let's talk about this weeks matchups first the streaks, Mr_Ambition14 goes for the record this week in a matchup with Big Mac. If Mr_Ambition14 wins this week and moves to 6-0, then all the stands in the way of 7-0 is Mr Dallas. At the other end Rudeboy is about to go to 0-6...lol. Rudeboy vs SUPERNUPE it is going to be a Madden type beatdown. Rudeboy will be moving to 0-6 and be playing dpoe roughriders in week 7 trying not to become the first team in league history to go 0-7. Last year Mr Dallas started 0-6, before pulling off some big upsets and ending with a 3-11 record, can Rudeboy get a win then get 3 more? The 1-4 Wardawgs take on the 2-3 high scoring Headbussas neither team can aford a lost. 3-2 The Mack Attack 2.0 vs the 2-3 dpoe roughriders, can dpoe roughriders get in the playoff hunt? 2-3 BODY SNATCHERS vs the 3-2 Mr Dallas the brothers go at it, let's see if Mr Dallas puts up a fight?
    Oct 8 12:51 PM
  • Week 4 Mr_Ambition14 is the only undefeated team left, he put up the top total of the week 136.06, knocking off The Mack Attack 2.0, The Mack Attack 2.0 did put up 109.26 showing he had his team ready to play. Two powerhouse team faced off and SUPERNUPE pulls off a victory thanks to Tony Romo throwing 5 picks on Monday, Headbussas just needed Homo to play a good game but he did what he does. Headbussas is the highest scoring team in the league and now has a 1-3 record. Mr Dallas moves to 3-1 by knocking Wardawgs to 1-3, dpoe roughriders move to 2-2 and dropping BODY SNATCHERS to 1-3 and in the matchup of the new guys Big Mac puts up 85.86 pts and moves to 3-1 and drops Rudeboy and his 58.42 pts to 0 and 4. Big Mac point total would have only beat one team Rudeboy, Headbussas point total would have beat 6 out of 9 teams. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good, but as the season goes on, the cream should rise to the top.

The biggest game of this week and the biggest game of the season so far, SUPERNUPE takes on The Mack Attack 2.0. Both teams made the playoffs last year and both teams are averaging over 100 pts a week. Big game, another big game Wardawgs vs BODY SNATCHERS, two of last year's playoff team both at 1-3, the loser goes to 1-4 and will have a hard time making the playoffs. Two 3-1 teams matchup this week when Big Mac takes on Mr Dallas the winner moves to 4-1 in prime playoff position. Headbussas the highest scoring team in the league is 1-3 and takes on the 2-2 dpoe roughriders. Can Headbussas take care of business and start getting some wins? Mr_Ambition14 at 4-0 takes on the 0-4 Rudeboy, can Rudeboy get a win? We don't think it is going to happen this week and next week Rudeboy plays SUPERNUPE, can you say 0 and 6...lol
    Oct 1 10:39 PM
  • Week 3, Two undefeated teams left Mr_Ambition14 and The Mack Attack 2.0. In the game of the week The Mack Attack 2.0 beat Big Mac by 1.16 pts. It all came down to the Monday Night Game, Big Mac needed Rorgers to make one more play, but we all know what happen. Mr_Ambition14 put up 123.20 pts and won going away. In another close game Mr Dallas beat Rudeboy by 1.18 pts to drop Rudeboy to 0 and 3. Most of week 3 matchups were very close, so week 4 is big. Let's look at week 4's matchups.

Big game 3-0 Mr_Ambition14 vs 3-0 The Mack Attack 2.0, after this week only one undefeated team! 2-1 Big Mac takes on 0-3 Rudeboy, can Rudeboy get a win? So far Big Mac has out scored Rudeboy by over a 100 pts in 3 games. Rudeboy needs to put a team together that can score about 100 to have a chance. SUPERNUPE vs Headbussas is two power house teams facing off for one to reach 2-2 and the other to 1-3. dpoe roughriders and BODY SNATCHERS are facing the same fate, one 2 and 2, the other 1 and 3. And the Wardawgs at 1-2 need to knock off Mr Dallas at 2-1, Mr Dallas is the second lowest scoring team in the league and is 2-1 and the highest scoring team Headbussas is 1-2. It is all about matchups

  • Week 2, The Big story is Big Mac going to 2-0, in the best game of the week Headbussas put up 116.44 and lost. The other big story the Wardawgs going to 0-2 and the BODY SNATCHERS going to 0-2, last year both teams made the playoffs this year they start 0-2. Last year's Champ The Mack Attack 2.0 keeps rolling going to 2-0 and Mr_Ambition14 is also 2-0. Rudeboy only puts up 47.68 and drops to 0-2. So that is 3 teams at 2-0 and 3 teams at 0-2 and 4 teams at 1-1.

This week, Last year's Champ The 2-0 The Mack Attack 2.0 takes on the 2-0 Big Mac, who will go to 3-0? Also looking to go 3-0, Mr_Ambition14 taking on the highest scoring team in the league Headbussas. Headbussas have looked really good can they put up another week with over 110 pts. The BODY SNACHERS, Wardawgs and Rudeboy will all be looking for their first win. SUPERNUPE, dpoe roughriders and Mr Dallas all look to go 2-1 and keep the win less teams winless.

  • Alright week 1 is in the books, and every team that scored 100 points won, everyone under lost. So the match ups in week 1 set the stage, 3 of 4 of last year's playoff teams lost, the only playoff team to win, last year's Champ The Mac Attack 2.0.

This week 2 of last year's playoff team faceoff, both needding wins. The Wardawgs at 0-1 vs SUPERNUPE at 0-1. Nobody wants to start 0-2! There are two 1-0 teams facing each other this week Big Mac vs Headbussas, one team goes to 2-0. The other match ups are all 1-0 vs 0-1 teams and like I said before nobody wants to start 0-2 but Mr Dallas, BODY SNATCHERS and Rudeboy all face that. While dpoe roughriders, Mr_Ambition14 and The Mac Attack 2.0 all look to go 2-0. The biggest blowout so far 27.08, Headbussas vs Rudeboy can somebody beat that? Are will all the games be close? Let's see!

  • Ok fantasy football players, the teams have been drafted, Big Mac got the first pick and got Aaron Rodgers, Wardawgs at 2 got Arian Foster and so on... just so we are clear I did not pick the draft order, but I must say that it was kind of funny that last years winner The Mac Attack had the last pick and a new team had the first pick. Sometime life works out like it should. Rudeboy the other new team had the 4th pick, so both new teams had great picks in the draft order. The Best draft award went to Big Mac, so let's see if that makes Big Mac a playoff team. Last year the BODY SNATCHERS got the best draft award and made the playoffs, can Big Mac do the same? 10 teams only 4 make the playoffs, so every game counts!

The keys matchups week 1, the last 2 winners faceoff in week 1, The Mac Attack 2.0 vs Mr Dallas, Mr Dallas won the league 2 years ago and The Mac Attack 2.0 won last year, so that is a big game in the fantasy world!

The other match ups are let's see, SUPERNUPE vs dpoe roughriders, can dpoe make the playoffs, he needs to win. Wardawgs vs Mr_Ambitions14, can Mr_Ambitions14 make a playoff run, if so you need to beat playoff teams like the Wardawgs. The best draft teams faceoff, Big Mac vs the BODY SNATCHERS, last year the BODY SNATCHERS made the playoffs and made it to the finals, can Big Mac make the playoffs with the best team? The new guy Rudeboy vs the Headbussas, 1-0 or 0-1 who starts with a win?

    Game on!

  • Ok fantasy football players, we now have 8 teams. I am going to give Melvin and Chris one more day before I close the league and set up the draft. If we stay at 8 we will have the same rules as last year, ie 2 QB, if we go to 10 teams the rosters sizes will change, other wize we will have the same rules as last year. I will set the draft to take place on Friday so you have until then to do your rankings. Good luck all, let's have some fun and may the best team win.
