WR David Anderson, who signed an offer sheet with Denver in the offseason that the Texans matched, had five catches for 52 yards against the Titans. On the last, desperation drive to kick a field goal and force overtime, he had two receptions for 25 yards. Anderson got more playing time because the injured Jacoby Jones was inactive. Anderson, a seventh-round pick in 2006, would get more playing time on other teams, but the Texans are blessed with a lot of talented receivers. His catches have improved each season. Coach Gary Kubiak told the media once that if Anderson started, he'd catch 80 passes a season. This season, he has 23 receptions for 232 yards, almost all in clutch situations.
