    • PK Shaun Suisham, who had been 12 for 12 during the first nine games, missed two of four attempts at Cowboys Stadium and the Redskins lost 7-6. "It's hard to swallow, especially in a tight game like this," said Suisham, who began his career with the Cowboys in 2005. "I feel awful. The guys fought so hard today. You got a tight game like that and you miss two field goals, it's very frustrating and disappointing." Suisham's 50-yard try with 7:06 remaining sailed wide right, but the one that really hurt was the 39-yarder that went wide left with 15 seconds to go in the first half and Washington leading 3-0 thanks to his 45-yarder 10:07 earlier. As Suisham lined up for the relatively routine 39-yarder, all hell broke loose with the men in the striped shirts. Quarterback Jason Campbell had scrambled on the previous play and threw the ball away as he reached the sideline in hopes of avoiding being called for a 5-yard sack. The officials huddled with each other. Referee albert Riveron checked the replay. He talked to Redskins coach Jim Zorn and Cowboys coach Wade Phillips. The officials huddled again. More discussions with the coaches. Finally, the play was ruled an incomplete pass. Suisham finally lined up again. And missed for the first time since Week 17 of 2008. "Obviously, I didn't handle it well," Suisham said. "I missed. That was not the reason I missed. It was a strange situation, but certainly no excuse to miss a field goal, though."
