      Broncos re-signed TE Dominique Jones.

    • Dustin Hopkins signed to Saints p-squad
Saints signed K Dustin Hopkins to their practice squad.

Advice: It's a strange move as NFL teams rarely waste practice squad spots on kickers. Although Shayne Graham missed a 51-yarder Monday night, he's still 19-of-22 on the year. We still like Graham as a solid fantasy kicking play at home against the Falcons Sunday as long as there's no funny business going on with Hopkins. Rotoworld.com

    • Report: Keenum tentatively expected to start
CBS' Jason La Canfora says "every expectation" is that Case Keenum will start Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Advice: Bill O'Brien isn't tipping his hand between Keenum and Thad Lewis. But Keenum makes more sense as he was with the team throughout the offseason program and training camp before losing his backup job to Tom Savage and Ryan Mallett. However, Keenum was brutal in four preseason games going 28-of-52 (53.8%) for 254 yards (4.88 YPA) with zero touchdowns and two interceptions, good for a 51.3 passer rating. He's not even a two-quarterback league option against a Ravens defense that can cover their secondary woes with a swarming front seven. Rotoworld.com

    • Reggie Wayne could play limited snaps
The Indy Star suggests Reggie Wayne (triceps) might have his snap count reduced over the final two weeks of the regular season.

Advice: The Colts already backed off Wayne a bit in Weeks 14 and 15, playing him on just 75.6 percent of the snaps. Now they've clinched the AFC South and have almost no shot at a first-round bye. So resting Wayne in order to get him 100 percent for the Wild Card game makes plenty of sense. Donte Moncrief and Hakeem Nicks will have roles against the Cowboys Sunday, with Moncrief ticketed for far more snaps. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Forsett has rotated out more often that usual the last two weeks, averaging 14.5 carries during that span vs. 22.0 the previous three weeks. Perhaps knee and ankle issues were to blame. Forsett was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, a strong sign he's nearing 100 percent again ahead of Sunday's game at Houston. "I feel good," he said. Alfonso Smith and Phillip Tanner are the 49ers' only healthy running backs right now.

Advice: Carlos Hyde (ankle, back) is doubtful and Frank Gore remains in the concussion protocol. Smith didn't make the team out of training camp, but was re-signed in mid-November. The veteran has rushed 52 times for 162 yards (3.11 YPC) with two touchdowns in his five-year career. Tanner, who has seen time with the Cowboys and Bills, had been on the street for the last month. Ideally, fantasy owners will be avoiding this situation. If forced, Smith would be the preferred play as the likely starter and one with far more experience in the scheme. Rotoworld.com

RB Joseph Randle handled the first-team reps during the team portion of Wednesday's practice.

Advice: DeMarco Murray (hand) participated in individual drills and even caught some passes two days after surgery, putting him on track to play against the Colts. But if he can't, Randle would handle the majority of base back duties, including goal-line work. That's key as eight of DeMarco's 11 touchdowns this season have come from three yards out or closer. Right up until game time, that's going to be the way it is." It sounds like he's going to try to keep the Ravens in the dark until Sunday morning. All Texans are hands off in fantasy Super Bowls. Justin Forsett blamed a stacked box for his disappointing 16-48-0 line against the Jaguars Sunday.

The box and safeties were down, but it was a good challenge for us." Forsett also appeared to tweak his troublesome ankle in the first half. Jimmy Graham caught five passes for 87 yards in the Saints' Week 15 win over the Bears.

Advice: Graham, Kenny Stills, and Marques Colston each tied for the team lead with seven targets. After combining for 3-25 the previous two games, it was nice to see Graham get back on track and see an end-zone target. However, he couldn't corral the fade pass. The Bills' running game really hasn't missed a beat in Spiller's absence, so it's unlikely Marrone will force him back into the lineup if he doesn't believe he's ready. But he was very quiet after a three-catch first quarter, perhaps limited by this hamstring tweak. When asked if he will be OK afterward, Hilton said, "I hope so. Advice: Forsett had a mouthwatering matchup on paper, but the Jaguars have been playing better defense for the better part of two months now. This game was sloppy and dominated by five field goals and a special teams touchdown. Forsett should find more running room in Week 16 against the Texans provided he's healthy. Advice: It's way up from last week, when Graham played on just 56.1 percent of the snaps and ran a meager 19 routes. With the Saints trailing for the entire game against the Panthers, he ran a season-high 46 routes but still frustrated by coming down with just 3-of-11 targets. Graham's usage is intact, so we're still confident in him as a top-3 tight end option at Chicago on Monday night in Week 15. Rotoworld.com

    • Philip Rivers struggles in loss to Patriots
Philip Rivers completed 20-of-33 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown, and an interception in Sunday night's Week 14 loss to the Patriots.

Advice: It was another bad game from Rivers, who has a 6:6 TD/INT ratio over the last five weeks. His only touchdown was a 15-yard fade to Malcom Floyd in the corner of the end-zone. The Patriots shut down Keenan Allen with Darrelle Revis, leaving Rivers to check down to Donald Brown and Antonio Gates. Rivers will be just a low-end QB1 for Week 15 against the Broncos.
