    • Jermaine Kearse suffers hamstring injury
Jermaine Kearse suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday night's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: He's been ruled out for the rest of the game. Kearse will finish with just one catch for eight yards. Paul Richardson has replaced him in two-wide sets. Rotoworld.com

    • Rueben Randle comes to life at STL
Rueben Randle caught six passes for 132 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's Week 16 win at St. Louis.

Advice: For the first time in three weeks, Randle wasn't late for a team meeting and therefore wasn't benched for the first quarter. It was a good thing, as Eli Manning chucked him a jump ball 49 yards down the field which he came down with early and then got loose to the pylon in the third quarter for a seven-yard score. It's a reminder that when Randle's head is on straight, he can be a plus wideout in the league. That's rarely the case however, as evidenced by just two 100-yard games and three touchdowns all year. • Dan Herron shut down by Cowboys Week 16
Dan Herron rushed seven times for three yards and caught 3 passes for 37 yards Week 16 against the Cowboys.

Advice: The entire Colts offense was in neutral in this one, and Herron was no exception. The interior of Indianapolis' offense line was dominated all game, giving the backs almost no room to run. Herron did have a long reception called back by penalty, and is still the Colts' best option at running back. He will look to finish the regular season strong against the Titans' leaky run defense next week. Rotoworld.com

Jamaal Charles rushed nine times for 29 yards in the Chiefs' Week 16 loss to the Steelers, adding five receptions for 48 additional yards.

Advice: Charles also lost a fumble. With everything on the line for his team, coach Andy Reid gave Charles just 14 touches in a game where Alex Smith chucked up 45 passes. It was another extremely disappointing game plan as the Chiefs lost for the fourth time in five games. Charles' fumble was a dubious call, as replay appeared to show his knee touching down before the ball came out. Charles and the Chiefs will square off with the Chargers in Week 17, where they'll need a victory to have any shot at the postseason. Rotoworld.com

Jordy Nelson caught nine passes for 113 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 16 win one the Bucs.

Advice: Nelson couldn't get anything going downfield with Aaron Rodgers, with most of his yards coming on underneath routes. His touchdown came on a one-yard slant late in the fourth quarter. Nelson secured all nine of his targets and didn't have any drops this week. The Packers play the Lions for the NFC North title in Week 17. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Bennett was targeted just three times while Alshon Jeffery and Marquess Wilson combined for 25. That may have been part of the gameplan as a Bears offensive line without Kyle Long tried to protect Jimmy Clausen. In the previous four games, Bennett averaged 9.7 targets per day. Advice: With Jimmy Clausen settling this Bears offense down, Forte finally got the opportunities he deserved. And he was effective, especially considering he was facing the league's No. 2 defense. Forte's touchdown came at the end of the first half on a pretty, lofted throw that led him into the end zone. Advice: Avery wasn't listed on the injury report, so he's a healthy scratch. Dwayne Bowe (illness) is good to go against the Steelers' bottom-five secondary. With Avery banished to the bench, we'd expect a bigger role for Albert Wilson. Rotoworld.com

Eddie Royal caught 10-of-12 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown Week 16 against the 49ers.

Advice: Royal inherited a lot of the targets normally earmarked for Keenan Allen (ankle, collarbone), working primarily in the short and intermediate areas of the field. His touchdown catch was a beautifully lofted ball by Philip Rivers in the second quarter. With Allen likely done for the season, Royal could return WR3 value in PPR formats against the Chiefs next week. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He was targeted six times, but Jay Cutler completed just 15 passes. It was an ugly night for the entire Chicago passing offense. Matt Forte rushed for 78 yards on 16 carries in the Bears' Week 15 loss to the Saints.

Advice: He added two catches for 21 yards. Forte was easily the Bears' best player on Monday night, but coach Marc Trestman didn't give it to him enough, even with Jay Cutler playing horrifyingly bad at quarterback. Forte had no problems picking up handfuls of yards any time he touched the ball. Life won't be easy for Forte in Week 16 against the Lions. Jamaal Charles expressed frustration with the coaches coddling him in Sunday's win over the Raiders.

Advice: Charles admitted his knee and ankle bothered him slightly during the game, but nothing that he couldn't play very effectively through. He seemed most frustrated by the coaches yanking him after a big collision near the goal-line. Knile Davis scored on the very next play. "I wanted to play the game. Advice: Even with Keenan Allen (ankle) sidelined for the majority of the game, Royal saw just four targets and had little chance to get loose anyway. His biggest impact came on a 58-yard punt return that saw him get tripped up by the punter at the last second. Royal would be a weak WR4 at San Fran next week even if Keenan sits. Rotoworld.com

Jermaine Kearse caught 5-of-6 targets for 78 yards in the Seahawks' Week 15 win over the 49ers.

Advice: The 78 yards were Kearse's most of the season. He might have gone over 100, but couldn't corral what would have been a long gain on his sixth target. Kearse's big-play upside is well established, but he doesn't get nearly enough looks to be on the WR3/4 radar in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Johnson broke a late 37-yard run to set up the game-winning touchdown but was otherwise quiet in his return to Tennessee. Johnson has reclaimed an equal timeshare with Chris Ivory in the Jets' backfield, but he is not doing much with the work. He will be an RB4 against the Patriots Week 16. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Nelson got wide open on a double move late in the third quarter and would have had a 94-yard touchdown, but flat dropped it. Dan Herron rushed 11 times for 60 yards and caught two passes for 12 yards in Sunday's Week 15 win over the Texans.

Advice: Once again, Herron made Trent Richardson (9-32-0) look like he was running in quicksand. But once again, the Colts declined to reduce T-Rich's snaps in favor of the better back. It's frustrating, but there's nothing we can do except reduce Herron's projection to 9-13 touches per game. He'll be a flex option only with that kind of volume against the Cowboys in Week 16. Advice: Charles took a big hit inside the five late in the third quarter. He was cleared of a concussion on the sidelines, but only saw one more snap in a game the Chiefs were winning comfortably. Charles did not appear to be limited by his ankle and knee woes, but he failed to reach 100 yards or score a touchdown for the first time since Week 5. Randle has taken a back seat in the passing game since Odell Beckham's emergence and hasn't seen more than four targets in a game the past three weeks.
