They've moved from 10th place to sixth since Week 5. Both teams left points off the scoreboard as Dave S's Team had two starters turn in zero points and Gabs had five. Smooth Moves by Dave S's Team

    • Le'Veon Bell put the team on his back with 22.50 points, the fourth-highest score among RBs in the league this week.
    • There are rumors that the military wants to model a new all-terrain vehicle based off of Andre Ellington. He had the eighth-highest score among RBs in the league this week with 19.00 points.
    • Roddy White scored 16.90 points, the sixth-highest WR score in the league this week.
    • The 14.40 points scored by Torrey Smith was the ninth-highest score by a WR in the league this week.
    • Even with two starters scoring zero points, Dave S's Team was still able to win.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • Gabs should get prescription glasses. At least we assume that's why they didn't bother reading the expert articles from the Toyota Hall Of Fame.
    • Did not start Nick Folk, who scored 15.00 points, surpassing his projected points by 112.8%, the fifth-highest percentage in the league.
    • Did not start Eli Manning, who led the team in scoring with 23.12 points.
    • Should have started Eric Decker, who underachieved, but still had the most points of any WR on the team with 6.90 against a projected 8.66.
    • This is how people lose everything in casinos. Dave S's Team thought their luck would change and went back to the well with Vernon Davis. However, he scored 2.30 points against a projected 7.74 and has now underachieved in four straight games.

    What If

    • If Dave S's Team played Gabs every week, they would be 4-3 this season.
    • Besides Gabs, Dave S's Team would have defeated three other teams this week.
    • Were they resting their players for this week? Dave S's Team would have defeated Gabs 130.46 - 71.67 had they played each other last week.
    • Dave S's Team would be 1-5 if they played the same schedule as Gabs.
    • If Dave S's Team had played every team in the league each week, they would be 22-41.
    • Gabs would have been beaten by every other team in the league this week.
    • If they played the same schedule as Dave S's Team, Gabs would be 2-4.
    • If they played every team every week, Gabs would be 12-51.

    Game Notes

    • Luck has not been with Gabs, as five of their six losses have come when their opponent scores higher than their season average.
    • With 41.30 points, Gabs scored the fewest points in the league this week and had the lowest score of any team this season.
    • The tragedy of being an underachiever is that Gabs knows what they should be, but reality keeps telling them that they're wrong. They scored 41.30 points against a projected 62.53 and underachieved for the sixth time this season, including the last three weeks in a row.
    • The 59.80-point margin of victory was the largest in the league this week and second-biggest in the league this season.
    • How nice of you to offer a free win! This was the sixth time this season that Gabs lost by the biggest margin of the week.
    • The 39.50 points by the WRs on Dave S's Team was the season-high for combined points from the position.
    • What good are running backs if they are running backwards instead of forwards? The 23.10 total points by the RBs on Gabs was their smallest RB output this season.
    • Dave S's Team improves to 1-1 in blowout games this season.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 7

Rob Bironas TEN - K 2007 vs. Houston 8 field goals, 2 extra points If you started Titans footsmith Rob Bironas in Week 7 of '07, you had the rare luxury of landing one of the top three fantasy performances of that week, regardless of position, with only New England QB Tom Brady and Cincy RB Kenny Watson ahead of him.

It was rare air indeed for kicker fantasy production, but then again, Bironas' eight field goals set an NFL record that still stands. This performance may conjure bitter memories for Browns fans, as Bironas' final field goal with no time left on the clock gave the Titans a 38-36 victory over the Texans. Tennessee would finish the season at 10-6 and made the playoffs by virtue of winning a tiebreaker with, you guessed it, the 10-6 Browns. It was Cleveland's only winning season since '02.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
