Who-Dey crew Blasts Football Girl, Moves to 2-0 Head-to-Head

    Week 12

    • Who-Dey crew
    • 6-6
    • Weekly Grade: B-
    • 94.06
    • Football Girl
    • 4-8
    • Weekly Grade: F
    • 58.72

Who-Dey crew remains undefeated in two matchups against Football Girl and they turn up the heat in this one, with a 94.06 to 58.72 beating. Football Girl should maybe just stop showing up against Who-Dey crew, who has an average margin of victory of 32.41 points when they play. That's larger than their 16.66-point average margin of victory for the season. This week, Eddie Lacy led the way, getting 25.80 points. It was a downgrade, however, from the 34.04 points Matthew Stafford got the last time these teams played. Who-Dey crew beat Football Girl 128.39 to 98.90 in Week 1 and now averages 111.22 points against them.

    Smooth Moves by Who-Dey crew

    • The 25.80 points scored by Eddie Lacy ranked 10th in the league in scoring this week and third for any player on Who-Dey crew this season.
    • Benched the Houston Texans Defense, which had the lowest DEF score on the team with 10.50 points.
    • Adam Vinatieri scored 12.00 points against a projected 9.53 and has now overachieved in six straight games.
    • Josh Gordon had his highest scoring output of the season with 12.00 points.
    • With only 4 of their 9 starters beating their projected points, Who-Dey crew was still able to win.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • Football Girl should have scored more than 94.06 in order to win. That's Hall Of Fame level insight.
    • All nine players in the starting lineup scored less than their projected points.
    • Well, that's embarrassing. Left Eli Manning on the bench, where he ranked sixth in the league in scoring with 29.52 points.
    • Left the St. Louis Rams Defense on the bench, where they scored 24.30 points and beat their projected point total by 154.5%, the fourth-highest percentage in the league this week.
    • With 3.30 points against a projected 4.63, Juwan Thompson did not meet his projection for the fourth straight game.

    What If

    • If Who-Dey crew played Football Girl every week, they would be 5-7 this season.
    • Who-Dey crew would have beaten four other teams besides Football Girl this week.
    • Had they played each other last week, Who-Dey crew would have defeated Football Girl 104.77 - 84.67.
    • If they played the same schedule as Football Girl, Who-Dey crew would be 1-9.
    • If Who-Dey crew had played every team in the league each week, they would be 54-78.
    • Football Girl would have lost to every other team in the league this week.
    • Football Girl would be 7-3 if they played the same schedule as Who-Dey crew.
    • If they played every team every week, Football Girl would be 64-68.

    Game Notes

    • Looks like teams bring their A game when they see them on the schedule. Of the losses Football Girl has had, six were against opponents who topped their season scoring average that week.
    • Football Girl underachieved for the seventh time this season, including the last three weeks in a row, scoring 58.72 points against a projected 95.91 this week.
    • Football Girl was last in the league in scoring and had their lowest score of the season with 58.72 points.
    • The 94.06 points by Who-Dey crew was their lowest winning score of the season.
    • The margin of victory of 35.34 points was the biggest of the season for Who-Dey crew.
    • Although Who-Dey crew won, it was no thanks to Mark Ingram, who scored 4.20 points and has now scored below his projection in three straight weeks.
    • The WRs from Football Girl scored the fewest points of any team in the league this week, with only 10.90 points.
    • With a record of 0-2, Football Girl is winless in blowout matchups.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 12

Fred Taylor JAC - RB 2000 vs. Pittsburgh 33 touches, 248 total yards, 4 TDs Fred Taylor earned the nickname "Fragile" because of the frequency of which he would land on the NFL injury report.

But when he was healthy, he was a sight to behold. And the pinnacle of his career was in Week 12 of '12, when he rolled up the Pittsburgh defense for 248 yards and four touchdowns. For fantasy owners, it was an amazing time to own the Jacksonville back. After sitting out the first three games of that season (we mentioned that he was fragile, right?), he returned to post modest numbers in his his three games back in the lineup. But his 10 game run to close out the '00 campaign is the stuff of legend. From Weeks 7-16, Taylor went straight games with at least 100 rushing yards. And over the final seven games of the season, he amassed a whopping 13 TDs, including a hat trick+1 in Week 12 and another hat trick (and 181 rushing yards) two weeks later.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
