• Inking with Jacksonville
The Jaguars are slated to sign Deguara to a one-year contract, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.

Advice: Deguara spent the last four seasons handling a depth role in Green Bay, where he was drafted in the third round back in 2020. His versatility both as a blocker and on special teams will boost his chances of earning playing time behind Evan Engram, but Deguara peaked with a 25-245-2 receiving line in 2021 and doesn't appear to have much fantasy potential. • Josiah Deguara signs one-year deal with Jaguars
Jaguars signed TE Josiah Deguara, formerly of the Packers, to a one-year contract.

Advice: Deguara was a third-round pick of the Packers in 2020, and has totaled 47 receptions for 436 yards and two touchdowns for his career. He mananaged only eight catches for 65 scoreless yards last season, as rookies Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave earned significant playing time out of the gate. Deguara won’t have any fantasy relevance in Jacksonville’s offense. Rotoworld Today, 7:23 am

  • J.K. Dobbins scheduled to meet with Chargers
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports free agent RB J.K. Dobbins is scheduled to meet with the Chargers.

Advice: Dobbins has been cleared for football activities after suffering a torn Achilles in Week 1 last season. The former second-round pick has been among the most efficient running backs in the league when healthy, but a torn ACL in 2021 followed by last year’s injury could prove detrimental to his playing future. Dobbins, 25, would reunite with former Ravens teammate Gus Edwards if he and the Chargers are able to come to terms on a deal. Rotoworld Today, 7:21 am

  • Lines up AFC West visit
Dobbins (Achilles) is visiting the Chargers on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Advice: Dobbins, who was recently medically cleared for football activities, is coming off a left Achilles tear after previously missing all of 2021 and about half of the 2022 season due to a torn ACL and proceeding issues. That medical history undercuts otherwise impressive career numbers for Dobbins, who has averaged 5.8 yards per carry and scored 13 touchdowns since entering the NFL in 2020 as a second-round pick by the Ravens, but only suited up for 24 games in that span. Reuniting with offensive coordinator Greg Roman could make the most sense as a landing spot for Dobbins, but it's possible he doesn't garner more interest than a potential prove-it deal. The Chargers signed Gus Edwards,a former Baltimore backfield mate of Dobbins, early in free agency. Rotowire.com Today, 6:01 am

  • Remains in Detroit
Sudfeld (knee) re-signed with the Lions on Wednesday.

Advice: Sudfeld missed all of last year after suffering a torn ACL in a preseason game against the Panthers. The 30-year-old operated as the team's backup quarterback to Jared Goff in 2022, and was competing with Teddy Bridgewater for that role last season before his injury. If he can make the Lions roster in 2024, he'll likely be the No. 3 option with Hendon Hooker behind Goff. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:59 pm

  • Lions bring back Nate Sudfeld
    Lions re-signed QB Nate Sudfeld.

Advice: Sudfeld served as Jared Goff’s backup in 2022 and had a shot at hanging onto the role last year. He was slated for a quarterback competition with Teddy Bridgewater until he suffered a torn ACL in a preseason game versus the Panthers. With Bridgewater retired, Sudfeld will compete with second-year quarterback Hendon Hooker for the backup job. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:41 pm

  • Joining Denver's WR corps
Reynolds agreed Wednesday with the Broncos on a two-year contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Advice: Per Garafolo, Reynolds' deal with Denver is worth a maximum of $14 million. The wideout, who turned 29 years old last month, is coming off a 2023 campaign in which he caught 40 of his 64 targets for 608 yards and five touchdowns in 17 regular-season contests for Detroit. With the Broncos, Reynolds will help fill the void created by the recent trade of Jerry Jeudy to the Browns. Reynolds will have a chance to compete with Tim Patrick (Achilles) and Marvin Mims for targets behind No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:32 am

  • Pederson wants Tank Bigsby more involved in ’24
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Tank Bigsby needs to be more involved in the team’s rushing offense in 2024.

Advice: “We have to get Tank going, the bottom line. He is too good, that’s why we drafted him. I think early he had some ‘what is that’ type plays for whatever reason right or wrong. Again, in and out of the lineup,” Pederson said. “He is a young player that we’re excited about. Like we talked about last year, we take some burden off of Etienne [RB Travis Etienne] a little bit, keep him healthy for the remainder of the season.” Pederson told NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry last month that the team would cut down Etienne’s workload in 2024 after he racked up 325 touches in 2023 — more than any running back besides Christian McCaffrey. Bigsby was a disaster during his rookie campaign. He was benched for large swaths of the season after costly turnovers early in the year. Bigsby played just 141 snaps and had 50 carries for Jacksonville last season. The Jags, who took Bigsby in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, seem intent on giving him another chance in 2024.

  • Broncos sign former Lions WR Josh Reynolds
Broncos signed WR Josh Reynolds, formerly of the Lions, to a two-year, $14 million deal.

Advice: Reynolds had met with the Ravens last week but went with the Broncos, who recently parted ways with Jerry Jeudy. After posting a 40/608/5 line in Detroit last season, Reynolds — a reliable possession receiver — profiles as an every-down wideout for Sean Payton’s offense. He could function as the WR2 behind Courtland Sutton unless Marvin Mims makes a leap in 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:23 am
