  • Brandon Williams catches six-yard pass
Panthers TE Brandon Williams caught a six-yard pass in Carolina's Week 9 loss to the Saints.

Advice: The grab was originally a 12-yard touchdown, but Williams ended up getting ruled down by contact midway through his run. Williams is a high-upside reserve, but has just four total catches this season. His fantasy time doesn't appear to be coming any time soon. Rotoworld.com

Jerricho Cotchery caught 2-of-5 targets for 59 yards in Carolina's Week 9 loss to the Saints.

Advice: Cotchery could have had a third grab, but let a deep reception get knocked out of his hands as he took a huge shot to the back on an under-thrown ball. A world-class touchdown vulture for the Steelers in 2013, Cotchery has yet to score this season. Rotoworld.com

Travaris Cadet rushed twice for one yard in New Orleans' Week 9 win over the Panthers, adding three catches for an additional 39 yards.

Advice: Not the night FLEX night streamers had in mind, though it wasn't a total disaster for PPR purposes. The question now for Cadet's middling RB3 value is if Pierre Thomas (shoulder) will be back for Week 10. Cadet is far from a must hold if you're in a roster bind. Rotoworld.com

  • Kenny Stills has 5-catch night vs. Panthers
Kenny Stills caught 5-of-8 targets for 72 yards in New Orleans' Week 9 win over the Panthers.

Advice: Stills could have had an even-bigger night, but committed a couple of drops. He also tweaked his groin, but played through a "probable" return tag. Stills is coming off one of the better stretches of his NFL career, with 14 grabs for 232 yards and a touchdown over his past three games. He's on pace for 51/799/2 at the season's halfway point after missing Week 1. He's a high-risk, high-reward WR4. Rotoworld.com

Marques Colston caught 3-of-3 targets for 36 yards in New Orleans' Week 9 win over the Panthers.

Advice: Another quiet night for Drew Brees' security blanket, who is on pace for a modest 56/888/2 at the season's halfway point. Colston closed strong in 2013, but that may not be in the cards this season with Brandin Cooks fighting for targets over the middle of the field. Colston is a Reggie Wayne-esque WR3. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandin Cooks held to three catches in win
Brandin Cooks caught 3-of-3 targets for 38 yards in the Saints' Week 9 win over the Panthers.

Advice: It was a disappointing night coming off Cooks' 6/94/1 Week 8, especially since he seemed to be finding the soft spots in Carolina's secondary. Either way, Drew Brees was spreading the ball around, finding eight different receivers. Cooks has weekly blow-up potential, but his season-long upside seems capped by the Saints' spread-the-wealth passing attack. With half his rookie year now in the books, Cooks is on pace for 86/820/4 four as a receiver, and 136 additional yards as a rusher. He's a boom-or-bust WR3. Rotoworld.com

Greg Olsen caught 3-of-4 targets for 30 yards in Carolina's Week 9 loss to the Saints.

Advice: Olsen's missed connection was the result of an inaccurate throw from Cam Newton. Olsen has just four catches for 46 yards over his past two games, but is still on pace for 90/1,078/10 at the season's halfway point. A 10-day rest for Week 10 should do Olsen and the Panthers' offense some good. He remains locked in as a top-five tight end. Rotoworld.com

Jimmy Graham caught 7-of-7 targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in New Orleans' Week 9 win over the Panthers.

Advice: Both the catches and yards were Graham's most since Week 4. The nice night came despite the fact that Graham appeared to tweak his troublesome shoulder multiple times, though he never checked out of the game. Graham beat blanket coverage from CB Melvin White on his one-yard score, and also dealt with supremely-physical attention from LB Thomas Davis. With half the season now in the books, Graham is on pace for 92/1,036/10 despite playing at less than 100 percent for the better part of a month. The yardage rate should pick up. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Gio Bernard (hip) is in doubt for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. He couldn't finish last week's game and did not practice on Wednesday. The change-of-pace type Peerman has been on the fringe of Cincy's roster for the last five seasons, rushing just 54 times. The Seahawks chose to use Richard Sherman in shadow coverage on Kelvin Benjamin, thus allowing their safeties to double up on Olsen. Fantasy owners should be thankful Tate scored a five-yard rushing touchdown late in the third quarter, effectively salvaging his fantasy day. There could be a changing of the guard if Tate continues to struggle and one of Isaiah Crowell or Terrance West emerges with a hot-hand. Tate has a 2.8 YPC over the last two games. Crowell has been the most productive and could start to see his role increased. The Browns have the most invested in West as a third-round pick. Rotoworld.com

  • A.J. Green (toe) not expected to play Week 8
The NFL Network's Albert Breer reports A.J. Green (toe) is unlikely to play against the Ravens Week 8.

Advice: Green did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. Breer reports Green is dealing with "lingering" ligament damage under his big toe, and he expects the Bengals to be careful with the injury. Green should be viewed as questionable for Week 9. Rotoworld.com

Donald Brown (concussion) still hasn't been medically cleared.

Advice: Brown has missed the last three games due to his concussion. He remains without a timetable for return. The Chargers will likely hold Brown out through their Week 10 bye. Rotoworld.com

  • A.J. Green could be hindered rest of season
The Cincinnati Enquirer expects A.J. Green's turf-toe injury to hinder him for the rest of the season.

Advice: Listed as doubtful for Week 8, Green is not expected to play against the Ravens. "Green likely won't be 100 percent at any point during the year," wrote beat reporter Paul Dehner, who suggests Green's going-forward availability will come down to a pain-management issue. Coach Marvin Lewis' positive comments on Friday do bode well for Green's chances of returning in Week 9. Rotoworld.com

  • Jimmy Graham listed as questionable
Jimmy Graham (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 8 against the Packers, but is expected to play.

Advice: He was limited in practice all week. Expect more usage for Graham against Green Bay after he was targeted just twice in last Sunday's loss to Detroit, and played fewer than 50 percent of New Orleans' offensive snaps. Rotoworld's Pat Daugherty ranks Graham as this week's No. 4 overall tight end play, behind only Julius Thomas (played Thursday), Rob Gronkowski, and Greg Olsen. Rotoworld.com

Kenny Britt (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 8 at Kansas City.

Advice: Although Britt is no longer a useful on-field player, the Rams have justified his presence in the starting lineup as critical to their team "leadership." Rotoworld.com

  • Bengals HC Lewis: AJ Green 'in football form'
Despite listing him as doubtful on the injury report, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said A.J. Green (toe) looked to be in "football form" off to the side of Friday's practice.

Advice: Green didn't actually participate, but the Bengals are ostensibly pleased with his progress. Per beat reporter Coley Harvey, Lewis "sounded a little optimistic" about Green "possibly giving it a shot Sunday." That's hard to believe considering his doubtful tag, but stranger things have happened. The Bengals are absolutely desperate for playmakers in their injury-riddled offense. Rotoworld.com

  • Kenny Britt gets in full practice Thursday
Kenny Britt (ankle) returned to Rams practice Thursday, getting in a full session.

Advice: Britt will be good to go against the Chiefs. As usual, he can't be trusted as more than a WR5 in exceptionally-deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jimmy Graham remains limited on Thursday
Jimmy Graham (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Advice: Graham will likely remain limited on Friday ahead of earning a "questionable" tag for Sunday's game against the Packers. Barring a setback, Graham is going to play, but his workload will be hard to predict after he was limited to two targets in Week 4. With Graham's upside so immense, he's Rotoworld's No. 4 tight end for Week 8 despite his dodgy health. Rotoworld.com

  • Travaris Cadet on track for bigger role
Travaris Cadet will likely be "heavily involved" in the pass game Sunday.

Advice: Pierre Thomas (shoulder) is not expected to play and Jimmy Graham (shoulder) could be limited again. Cadet, a strict passing back, has been integrated into the gameplan early over the last three weeks anyway, posting a 15-129-1 line through the air. Owners in full-PPR leagues could stream Cadet into their lineups and safely project 4-6 catches in a game that has the week's highest over/under (56). Rotoworld.com

Arian Foster was limited in Wednesday's practice.

  • Foster piles up 115 yards, TD in MNF defeat
Arian Foster rushed for 102 yards on 20 carries in the Texans' 30-23, Week 7 loss to the Steelers on Monday night, adding four catches for 13 yards and one touchdown.

Advice: Foster got off to a blazing start, rushing for 59 yards on the Texans' 94-yard opening touchdown drive, but was vultured by Alfred Blue for the 11-yard touchdown catch to cap it off. The wheels then fell off the Texans later in the half, and they never recovered. Foster was part of the problem, as he lost a fumble at his own three-yard line, setting up Le'Veon Bell's easy TD. Foster gave fantasy owners a scare on the third series of the game when he appeared to twist his knee while getting bent backward on a tackle. He shook it off and remained in the game. His score came from one yard out late in the fourth quarter. A locked-in RB1 any week he plays, Foster gets a date with the Titans in Week 8. Rotoworld.com

  • Rashad Jennings 'hopeful" to return after bye
Rashad Jennings (knee) said Monday he's "hopeful" he can return after the Giants' Week 8 bye, and will begin running this week.

Advice: Jennings claims he's "right on track" and considers himself "day to day." As Andre Williams had something of a limiting effect on New York's offense while serving as feature back, and is only averaging 3.15 YPC on the season, Jennings should return as the Giants' clear-lead runner. It's worth noting Jennings wasn't 100 percent committal when discussing a Week 9 return. In 12- and 14-team leagues, Williams is worth holding through New York's bye in case Jennings suffers a setback. He's a 29 1/2-year-old running back dealing with a multi-week MCL sprain.
