Fantasy football owners will accept any point margin to keep a win streak alive, but if you are able to win in a commanding fashion, it makes the streak all the more sweet. That is what Jaxson's Team accomplished this week when they put up the second-highest point total in the league this week, and won their third straight win to beat David's Team 110.14 to 90.18. The streak has provided big momentum for Jaxson's Team. They've moved from ninth place to sixth since Week 3. To make matters worse, David's Team got zero points from Matt Prater. David's Team falls to fifth place with a 3-2 record. Jaxson's Team has now steamrolled Robert's Team (76.62 to 71.38) and austin's Team (93.60 to 88.42).

    • Greg Olsen scored 19.20 points, the highest TE score of the week and the fifth-highest TE score in the league this season.
    • What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Golden Tate have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked fourth in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 19.40 points.

    Toyota Missed Opportunities

    • Yes, your team could have been better. But if you haven't gotten behind the wheel of the bold new Camry yet, that's your real missed opportunity.
    • Should have started Stevan Ridley, who beat his scoring projection with 17.30 points against a projected 7.76.
    • With 6.60 points against a projected 18.35, LeSean McCoy did not meet his projection for the third straight game.

    • It's times like these when it's important to support your players when they're down. So move the mouse pointer away from the DROP button. Giovani Bernard scored a season-low 7.20 points, 51.0% of his projected 14.12, which is his lowest percentage of the year.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 5

Miles Austin Dal - WR 2009 vs. Kansas City 10 receptions, 250 yards, 2 TDs Before Miles Austin gained .142 miles against the Chiefs in early October of '09, he had only topped 45 receiving yards just one other time in his career to that point.

To say that Austin broke out that day in Kansas City would be an understatement. Austin averaged just north of 20 yards per game in his first four contests of '09, but from Week 5 to Week 17, there was no fantasy WR better than Austin, who averaged 103.3 receiving yards and scored 10 times in that 12-game span.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
