    Smooth Moves by Joshua's Team

    • Le'Veon Bell felt like the Rodney Dangerfield of football, 'no respect at all' with this week's projected points. He scored the sixth-most points in the league and beat his projected point total by 113.6%, the eighth-highest percentage in the league.
    • With 22.46 points, Peyton Manning ranked eighth in the league in scoring.
    • Look, there in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just Cordarrelle Patterson posterizing opponents. He had the third-highest score of any WR in the league this week with 18.80 points.
    • With 15.70 points, Jeremy Maclin ranked fifth in the league in scoring among WRs this week.
    • Did you use any black magic this week? Joshua's Team was still able to pull out a win with only 3 of their 9 starters exceeding their projected points.

    Toyota Missed Opportunities

    • After that performance, we have to wonder if Jaxson's Team cares about becoming a Hall Of Famer at all. That's right, you're being judged by an online recap.
    • Did not start Russell Wilson, who led the team in scoring with 18.54 points.
    • The WR corps couldn't keep pace with their counterparts from Joshua's Team and were outscored 39.80 - 16.00.

    • 6 of the starters on Jaxson's Team scored less than their projected points.

    What If

    • Besides Jaxson's Team, Joshua's Team would have defeated five other teams this week.
    • If Joshua's Team had scored 15.87 more points, they would have beaten all teams in the league this week.
    • Besides Joshua's Team, Jaxson's Team would have been defeated by six other teams this week.
    • If Jaxson's Team had scored 6.17 fewer points, they would have lost to all teams in the league this week.

    • Joshua's Team beat their projected points, while Jaxson's Team fell below their projection.

An interesting side note to Peyton's monster Week 1 effort was that little brother Eli Manning put forth the second-best QB performance, throwing for 450 yards and four touchdowns at Dallas.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
