    • Heath Miller does little in Week 17
Heath Miller had three catches for 41 yards in Week 17 against the Bengals.

Advice: He was targeted seven times, behind only Antonio Brown. Miller was held out of the end-zone for the third straight week and couldn't come down with a red-zone look in the second quarter. He finishes the season with a 66/761/3 line. Jermaine Gresham caught three passes for 20 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Steelers.

Advice: Gresham missed the majority of the first half with a back injury. He was a non-factor outside of a five-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Gresham finishes the season with 62 catches, 460 yards, and five touchdowns. He graded out as the best pass-blocking tight end in the league by Pro Football Focus. Rotoworld.com

    • Julius Thomas doesn't catch a pass in win
Julius Thomas had zero catches in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Raiders.

Advice: It was Thomas' third game since returning from an ankle sprain and it was more of the same. He was a rotational player, failing to be the first read on any pass plays and losing snaps to blocker Virgil Green. Julius has now totaled 3-63-0 in these three games. The only logical explanation is he's still hurt, something the bye should help with. Thomas's fourth NFL regular season ends with 43-489-12, with an incredible nine of those scores coming in the first five weeks. Rotoworld.com

Levine Toilolo caught two passes for 14 yards in the Falcons' Week 17 loss to the Panthers.

Advice: Mainly a blocker, Toilolo wraps up his sophomore season with 31 catches for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Some pegged Toilolo as a potential sleeper who was filling Tony Gonzalez's shoes, but Toilolo predictably was kept in an inline-blocking role. He'll come back to fill the same role in 2015. Expect the Falcons to try and find a pass-catching tight end for Matt Ryan this offseason. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He was targeted four times. Coming off a 3-139-2 Week 16 against the Cardinals, Willson predictably came back down to Earth. He won't be worth DFS thought throughout the playoffs as the No. 3 or 4 option in a low-volume passing attack. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Even with Jimmy Graham fighting through a shoulder injury for the majority of the season, Watson ended up with just 20 catches. Now 34, Watson's $1.2 million salary for 2015 makes him likely to be cut by a team with serious cap issues. Rotoworld.com

Mychal Rivera caught two passes for 26 yards in Sunday's Week 17 loss at Denver.

Advice: Rivera is not especially fast, strong or big. But he got a lot of volume from Derek Carr this season leading to a reasonable 58-534-4 line as an NFL sophomore. Of course, it took Rivera 93 targets to get there, a number that should be reduced if the Raiders can ever get some talent on their team. This is not a player we'd be chasing in 2015 fantasy circles. • Jared Cook goes 3-37 in Week 17 defeat
Jared Cook caught 3-of-7 targets for 37 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

Advice: He ended up reeling in 52 passes for 634 yards and three touchdowns on the year. Cook wraps up the second year of a five-year, $35 million contract having set a new career-high in catches, but he’s still vastly overpaid. When the Rams signed Cook they had visions of a spread offense that passed the ball. They’ve since become a run-heavy team. Cook has been asked to block much more than he imagined he would, but he’s become solid in that area. Cook will count over $8 million against the cap in 2015, but he’ll be back in St. Louis. Not strong in the red zone, Cook is as boom or bust as they come at tight end with far more busts than booms. Rotoworld.com

Advice: It was Celek's first touchdown of the season. Relegated to a strict blocking role, he finishes his fifth NFL season with just 32-340-1. Celek will still likely be back at his $4.725 million salary because he's a valuable on-field piece outside the box score. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Robinson was considered the favorite to open the season as the Giants' tight end, but he blew the chance and was forced to watch Larry Donnell break out. It's a major red flag on Robinson's outlook going forward. His third NFL season ends with just five catches -- the first five grabs of his career. Rotoworld.com

Scott Chandler caught one pass for 20 yards Week 17 against the Patriots.

Advice: Normally a Patriots killer, Chandler was held in check as the Bills sat on the lead in the second half. Chandler took a step back in 2014, finishing with 47 catches for 497 yards and three touchdowns after cracking the 650-yard mark in 2013. Just finishing the first year of a two-year deal, Chandler will almost certainly be the Bills starting tight end in 2015. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Donnell came from off the pace to win the Giants' camp battle for the starting tight end job. But he immediately flashed starting ability, going 5-56-1 in Week 1 and finishing his breakout second season with 63-623-6. The Giants reportedly see "LD" as their long-term option at tight end, which will put him on the back-end TE1 radar in 2015. Charles Clay secured 5-of-6 targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 17 loss to the Jets.

Advice: Clay finishes his contract year with 58 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns. He battled a knee injury for most of the season and struggled to establish a consistent role in first-year OC Bill Lazor's system. When healthy, Clay is one of the league's most underrated H-back/tight ends. He turns 26 in February. If the Fins let Clay hit the free agent market, he should generate plenty of interest because of his versatility. The Fins would be smarter to "buy low" and lock up Clay for the next few seasons. Jace Amaro caught 3-of-4 targets for 34 yards in the Jets' Week 17 win over the Dolphins.

Advice: The 49th overall pick in last May's draft, Amaro completed his nondescript rookie year with 38 catches for 345 yards and two touchdowns. Amaro didn't show much field-stretching ability, but is a quality possession-receiver prospect and a likely building block for the Jets' organization. The club will hope for a 2015 step forward from Amaro as its tight end of the future, although Amaro's statistical outlook is tough to gauge with so much uncertainty in New York's front office and at quarterback. We suspect he'll improve to the point where Amaro will become a fantasy TE2 option as a sophomore. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Griffin entered Week 17 having played 286 snaps as the Texans' No. 3 tight end behind Garrett Graham and C.J. Fiedorowicz. He saw increased reps late in the year with Graham battling an ankle injury. We like Griffin's skill set as a pass catcher but he's not much of a blocker. Jordan Cameron caught 3-of-6 targets for 41 yards Week 17 against the Ravens.

Advice: Cameron got loose down the middle for a 30-yard gain in the first half, but was held in check the rest of the game. It was a quiet finish to a disappointing season for Cameron. Dealing with a concussion and shoulder injury throughout the season, the contract-year tight end managed just 24 catches for 424 yards and two scores across 10 games in 2014. Turning 27 just before the 2015 season begins, Cameron is young enough and talented enough from someone to take a chance despite his long concussion history, but he will likely have to settle for a short-term, prove-it deal. Clay Harbor was held without a catch in the Jaguars' Week 17 loss to the Texans.

Advice: Harbor was an every-down player from Weeks 4-10 while Marcedes Lewis was on I.R./recall. Once Lewis was back healthy, Harbor returned to the bench and only played about 15 snaps per game down the stretch. He has good hands and is a plus athlete. If the Jaguars decide to cut Lewis, Harbor could return as the No. 1 tight end in 2015, the final year of his contract. Either way, look for the Jaguars to address the tight end position in the offseason. Rotoworld.com

    • Jimmy Graham held to 54 yards in 2014 finale
Jimmy Graham caught 6-of-9 targets for 54 yards in New Orleans' Week 17 win over the Bucs.

Advice: The day was a microcosm of Graham's massively disappointing season, as he appeared to tweak his troublesome right shoulder, and failed to fight for what could have been 1-2 more catches in traffic. Graham admitted to the broadcast crew during the week that he simply hasn't been the same since getting injured in Week 5, and both his stats and on-the-field play support that. Now 28, there's a strong chance Graham will undergo offseason surgery. He closes the book on 2014 with 85 catches for 889 yards and 10 scores. The yards are his fewest since his rookie year in 2010. It's a tough pill to swallow for fantasy owners who made Graham a first-round pick, but he'll be an exceedingly obvious bounce-back candidate in 2015. Rotoworld.com

Martellus Bennett secured 8-of-11 targets for 59 yards in the Bears' Week 17 loss to the Vikings.

Advice: In a breakout second season under Marc Trestman, Bennett set career highs in receptions (90), yards (916), and touchdowns (6). Bennett is 27 years old with a secure future in Chicago. His 2015 base salary is a reasonable $4.9 million. Bennett will return as a mid-range to low-end TE1 in fantasy leagues next season. It's worth noting that his 2014 production was a bit puffed up by injuries to Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery over the course of the season, leading to more targets than ever for "Black Unicorn." Coby Fleener caught five passes for 56 yards with two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-10 Week 17 win a Tennessee.

Advice: Fleener once again ate with Dwayne Allen (knee) sidelined. He was featured in the red zone, working as the primary read on a back-side slip play for a 7-yard score and then coming down with a 8-yard jump ball from Matt Hasselbeck in the fourth quarter. Advice: Graham has an ankle injury. His season ends with 18 catches for 197 yards and one touchdown on 500-plus snaps. Su'a-Filo, the Texans' second-round pick, has been a routine healthy scratch the past few weeks after playing just 130 snaps scattered across the first three months. Advice: With nothing on the line Week 17, it makes little sense for the Patriots to play their dynamic but oft-injured tight end. • Tim Wright catches 12-yard pass vs. Jets
Tim Wright caught his lone target for 12 yards in New England's Week 16 win over the Jets.

    • Charles Clay goes 6-114 against Vikings
Charles Clay secured 6-of-10 targets for 114 yards in the Dolphins' Week 16 win over the Vikings.

Advice: The Vikings have been stout versus tight ends all season, but Clay went to work on short and intermediate patterns, racking up three receptions for 40 yards in the first half. He was "vultured" in the red zone on a 14-yard touchdown pass to No. 2 tight end Dion Sims in the second quarter. Clay sparked Miami's offense on a third-quarter gain of 41 yards. We have very little beef with what first-year OC Bill Lazor has done with Miami's 2014 offense, but underutilizing Clay could be one quibble. The Dolphins will close out their season in Week 17 against the Jets. Rotoworld.com

    • Jimmy Graham comes on strong late in game
Jimmy Graham caught 6-of-10 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown Week 16 against the Falcons.

Advice: Graham started slowly, failing to corral his first four targets and committing a bad drop on third down. He came on in the second half, catching a short touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and "fumbling" at the "one-yard line" on what should have been another score. Graham does not appear to be 100 percent, but he has double-digit targets in three of his last four games. Graham will close out the season against the Bucs next week. Rotoworld.com

    • Heath Miller has seven-catch day vs. Chiefs
Heath Miller caught 7-of-8 targets for 68 yards in the Steelers' Week 16 win over the Chiefs.

Advice: The seven-catch effort was Miller's fourth of the season. Miller has been up and down this year, but enters Week 17 the owner of a Miller-esque 63/720/3 receiving line. Now 32, Miller is signed through 2016. Rotoworld.com

    • Gronkowski goes 6/31/1 versus Jets
Rob Gronkowski caught 6-of-10 targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 16 win over the Jets.

Advice: Gronk is now up to 82/1,124/12 on the season. With one game to go, all three totals are the second best of his five-year career. It's a remarkable achievement for a player who tore his ACL last December. Rotoworld.com

    • Martellus Bennett held to one catch
Martellus Bennett caught one pass for zero yards in Sunday's Week 16 loss to the Lions.

Advice: Bennett was targeted just three times while Alshon Jeffery and Marquess Wilson combined for 25. That may have been part of the gameplan as a Bears offensive line without Kyle Long tried to protect Jimmy Clausen. In the previous four games, Bennett averaged 9.7 targets per day. The Bears wrap the season against the Vikings next week. Rotoworld.com

    • Cameron goes 3-88-1 against Panthers
Jordan Cameron secured 3-of-5 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' Week 16 loss to the Panthers.

Advice: Cameron was silent until the fourth quarter, when Brian Hoyer hit him for a dramatic 81-yard touchdown to give Cleveland the lead. It ultimately wasn't enough as the Panthers came back to win on a Cam Newton nine-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Stewart. It's been a lost fantasy year for Cameron, but his ability to produce was never in question. He'll look to finish strong in a Week 17 date with Baltimore. Rotoworld.com

Jermaine Gresham (toe) is listed as probable for Week 16.

Advice: Gresham practiced in full after sitting out last week. He should be avoided as more than a low-end TE2 for Monday night against Denver. Rotoworld.com
