Adding insult to injury, Jarrod's Team had four starters put up zeroes. !'s Majestic Team (7-0, 654.16 points) remains in first place while Jarrod's Team (2-5, 466.94 points) stays down in eighth place.

Smooth Moves by !'s Majestic Team

    • With 18.30 points, Randall Cobb ranked fourth in the league in scoring among WRs this week.
    • Look, there in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just Dez Bryant posterizing opponents. He had the sixth-highest score of any WR in the league this week with 15.10 points.
    • Even with only 4 of the 9 starters scoring more than their projection, !'s Majestic Team was still able to win.
    • Even with both of their RBs falling short of their projected scores, !'s Majestic Team still won.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • Yes, your team could have been better. But if you haven't gotten behind the wheel of the bold new Camry yet, that's your real missed opportunity.
    • Left Golden Tate on the bench, where he scored 21.40 points and beat his projected point total by 100.8%, the eighth-highest percentage in the league this week.
    • Jarrod's Team left the 14.00 points scored by the Indianapolis Colts Defense on the bench this week. They beat their projected point total by 162.1%, the second-highest percentage in the league.
    • It was a poor performance for Jarrod's Team at WR, where they were outdone by !'s Majestic Team 38.30 - 7.80.
    • 4 of the 9 starters scored zero points for Jarrod's Team.

    What If

    • If !'s Majestic Team played Jarrod's Team every week, they would be 7-0 this season.
    • !'s Majestic Team would have beaten six other teams besides Jarrod's Team this week.
    • Were they resting their players for this week? !'s Majestic Team would have defeated Jarrod's Team 82.20 - 42.00 had they played each other last week.
    • If they played the same schedule as Jarrod's Team, !'s Majestic Team would be 5-1.
    • If !'s Majestic Team had played every team in the league each week, they would be 48-15.
    • Besides !'s Majestic Team, Jarrod's Team would have been defeated by seven other teams this week.
    • Jarrod's Team would be 4-2 if they played the same schedule as !'s Majestic Team.
    • If they played every team every week, Jarrod's Team would be 18-45.

    Game Notes

    • It was the fifth-biggest margin of victory in the league this season at 38.98 points.
    • When the going gets tough, the tough are supposed to get going. However, Jarrod's Team stalled out again and extended their losing streak to five games.
    • What good are running backs if they are running backwards instead of forwards? The 0 total points by the RBs on Jarrod's Team was their smallest RB output this season.
    • Not going to name names, but some people here aren't pulling their weight. Forget it, Vernon Davis needs to step it up! He scored 2.10 points against a projected 7.37 in the win, and has now scored below his projection in four straight games.
    • Just because Robert Horry has seven NBA championship rings, doesn't mean he's one of the greats. Despite being on the winning team, C.J. Spiller scored 5.60 points against a projected 9.36 and has now underachieved in five straight games.
    • With a record of 0-3, Jarrod's Team is winless in blowout matchups.
    • Wow, they were beaten down like they owed somebody money. The margin of victory of 38.98 points was the worst loss of the season for Jarrod's Team.
    • !'s Majestic Team won even though Jarrod's Team performed better against their scoring projection. Jarrod's Team scored 91.0% of their 48.09 projected points, while !'s Majestic Team recorded 86.3% of their 95.90-point projection.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 7

Rob Bironas TEN - K 2007 vs. Houston 8 field goals, 2 extra points If you started Titans footsmith Rob Bironas in Week 7 of '07, you had the rare luxury of landing one of the top three fantasy performances of that week, regardless of position, with only New England QB Tom Brady and Cincy RB Kenny Watson ahead of him.

It was rare air indeed for kicker fantasy production, but then again, Bironas' eight field goals set an NFL record that still stands. This performance may conjure bitter memories for Browns fans, as Bironas' final field goal with no time left on the clock gave the Titans a 38-36 victory over the Texans. Tennessee would finish the season at 10-6 and made the playoffs by virtue of winning a tiebreaker with, you guessed it, the 10-6 Browns. It was Cleveland's only winning season since '02.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
