    Smooth Moves by zak's Team

    • There are rumors that the military wants to model a new all-terrain vehicle based off of Ryan Mathews. He had the sixth-highest score among RBs in the league this week with 17.30 points.
    • What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Keenan Allen have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked eighth in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 12.40 points.
    • Look, there in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just A.J. Green posterizing opponents. He had the 10th-highest score of any WR in the league this week with 12.10 points.
    • Even with three starters scoring zero points, zak's Team was still able to win.
    • The Seattle Seahawks Defense scored a season-high 14.00 points and beat their scoring projection by a season-high 95.2%.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • Yes, your team could have been better. But if you haven't gotten behind the wheel of the bold new Camry yet, that's your real missed opportunity.
    • Well, that's embarrassing. Left Ryan Tannehill on the bench, where he ranked third in the league in scoring with 27.62 points.
    • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Robert Griffin III during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in three straight games after scoring 3.34 points against a projected 15.84 this week.
    • This is how people lose everything in casinos. seth's Team thought their luck would change and went back to the well with DeMarco Murray. However, he scored 14.30 points against a projected 19.77 and has now underachieved in three straight games.
    • The 1.80 points scored by Terrance Williams fell short of his 7.09-point projection, the third straight game where that has happened.

    What If

    • If zak's Team played seth's Team every week, they would be 1-11 this season.
    • Besides seth's Team, zak's Team would have beaten only two other teams this week.
    • zak's Team would be 2-8 if they played the same schedule as seth's Team.
    • zak's Team would be 17-91 if they played every team every week.
    • seth's Team would have lost to seven other teams besides zak's Team this week.
    • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, zak's Team would have lost to seth's Team 87.58 - 74.18.
    • seth's Team would be 7-3 if they played the same schedule as zak's Team.
    • If they played every team every week, seth's Team would be 70-38.

    Game Notes

    • Looks like teams bring their A game when they see them on the schedule. Of the losses seth's Team has had, three were against opponents who topped their season scoring average that week.
    • zak's Team put up their smallest winning point total of the year.
    • With the win, zak's Team snapped their six-game losing streak.
    • At 8.36 points, the margin of victory was the tightest of the week.
    • seth's Team got their lowest combined scoring output from the WR position this season with only 1.80 points this week.
    • It was a season-low point total for seth's Team.
    • Not going to name names, but some people here aren't pulling their weight. Forget it, Kendall Wright needs to step it up! He scored 2.80 points against a projected 8.89 in the win, and has now scored below his projection in four straight games.
    • All of the points for zak's Team this week came from players they drafted.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 12

Fred Taylor JAC - RB 2000 vs. Pittsburgh 33 touches, 248 total yards, 4 TDs Fred Taylor earned the nickname "Fragile" because of the frequency of which he would land on the NFL injury report.

But when he was healthy, he was a sight to behold. And the pinnacle of his career was in Week 12 of '12, when he rolled up the Pittsburgh defense for 248 yards and four touchdowns. For fantasy owners, it was an amazing time to own the Jacksonville back. After sitting out the first three games of that season (we mentioned that he was fragile, right?), he returned to post modest numbers in his his three games back in the lineup. But his 10 game run to close out the '00 campaign is the stuff of legend. From Weeks 7-16, Taylor went straight games with at least 100 rushing yards. And over the final seven games of the season, he amassed a whopping 13 TDs, including a hat trick+1 in Week 12 and another hat trick (and 181 rushing yards) two weeks later.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
