Jarrod's Team logged the second-highest score this week and erased a 7.20-point deficit on Monday night. They destroyed Belinda Greene 88.40 to 54.30. Jarrod's Team (4-8) sits just two games back of Belinda Greene (6-6), but point totals show they should be happy with that because they are a lot further behind there, 983.82 to 827.44. This beating was revenge for a Week 3 113.00 to 91.32 loss to Belinda Greene. Both teams left points off the scoreboard in this one, as Jarrod's Team started one player with zero points and Belinda Greene also served up three.

    Smooth Moves by Jarrod's Team

    • Drew Brees led the league in scoring with 29.30 points, the fourth-highest score of any player on Jarrod's Team this season.
    • What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Justin Hunter have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked eighth in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 12.40 points.
    • The 12.00 points scored by Rashad Jennings was the eighth-highest score of any RB in the league this week.
    • The Arizona Cardinals Defense has now overachieved in five straight games after scoring 10.00 points against a projected 5.98.
    • This is the bar, and this is the team jumping over it. Jarrod's Team had 5 of their 9 starters exceed their projected points.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • Remember that thing Belinda Greene did instead of reading the expert articles from the Hall Of Fame? Shouldn't have done that.
    • Did not start the Buffalo Bills Defense, which ranked eighth in the league in scoring and beat their scoring projection by 133.2%, the fourth-highest percentage in the league.
    • This is one of those mistakes that you continuously think about for ten years. Did not start Tom Brady, who scored 20.96 points to rank 10th in the league in scoring.
    • Did not start Anquan Boldin, who scored 19.70 points, surpassing his projected points by 144.4%, the second-highest percentage in the league.
    • Andre Johnson has now failed to reach his projection for five straight games. This week he scored 3.60 points versus a projected 10.01.

    What If

    • If Jarrod's Team played Belinda Greene every week, they would be 3-9 this season.
    • Jarrod's Team would have beaten seven other teams besides Belinda Greene this week.
    • Jarrod's Team would be 4-6 if they played the same schedule as Belinda Greene.
    • If Jarrod's Team had played every team in the league each week, they would be 42-66.
    • Belinda Greene would have been beaten by every other team in the league this week.
    • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, Jarrod's Team would have lost to Belinda Greene 85.80 - 57.00.
    • If they played the same schedule as Jarrod's Team, Belinda Greene would be 7-3.
    • If they played every team every week, Belinda Greene would be 64-44.

    Game Notes

    • Jarrod's Team had the week's largest margin of victory (34.10 points) for the second time this season.
    • It was the second time this season that Belinda Greene has had the lowest score in the league.
    • Belinda Greene lost by the biggest margin of the week for the second time this season.
    • With the win, Jarrod's Team snapped their three-game losing streak.
    • In the loss, Adam Vinatieri scored 12.00 points against a projected 9.53 and has now overachieved in six straight games.
    • Cordarrelle Patterson did little to help Jarrod's Team, underperforming versus projections for the third straight game with 1.80 points against a projected 7.21.
    • All of the points for Jarrod's Team this week came from players they drafted.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 12

Fred Taylor JAC - RB 2000 vs. Pittsburgh 33 touches, 248 total yards, 4 TDs Fred Taylor earned the nickname "Fragile" because of the frequency of which he would land on the NFL injury report.

But when he was healthy, he was a sight to behold. And the pinnacle of his career was in Week 12 of '12, when he rolled up the Pittsburgh defense for 248 yards and four touchdowns. For fantasy owners, it was an amazing time to own the Jacksonville back. After sitting out the first three games of that season (we mentioned that he was fragile, right?), he returned to post modest numbers in his his three games back in the lineup. But his 10 game run to close out the '00 campaign is the stuff of legend. From Weeks 7-16, Taylor went straight games with at least 100 rushing yards. And over the final seven games of the season, he amassed a whopping 13 TDs, including a hat trick+1 in Week 12 and another hat trick (and 181 rushing yards) two weeks later.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
