    Smooth Moves by BulletProof Bacon

    • Expect to see some trade offers for Andrew Luck. He ranked second in the league in scoring with 51.00 points.

    • Cordarrelle Patterson scored 20.60 points, the fourth-highest WR score in the league this week.
    • Look, there in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just Jeremy Maclin posterizing opponents. He had the eighth-highest score of any WR in the league this week with 17.70 points.
    • Did you use any black magic this week? BulletProof Bacon was still able to pull out a win with only 5 of their 10 starters exceeding their projected points.

    Toyota Missed Opportunities

    • MEGAN's Team should have scored more than 155.90 in order to win. That's Hall Of Fame level insight.
    • 7 of the 10 starters scored less than their projected points.
    • The 7.50 points scored by Dez Bryant was just 45.3% of his 16.57-point projection.
    • With 10.50 points versus a projected 13.70, Alfred Morris scored only 76.6% of his projected point total.

    What If

    • Besides MEGAN's Team, BulletProof Bacon would have defeated seven other teams this week.
    • BulletProof Bacon would have had to score 54.53 fewer points to lose to all teams in the league this week.
    • Besides BulletProof Bacon, MEGAN's Team would have been defeated by three other teams this week.
    • If MEGAN's Team had scored 40.99 fewer points, they would have lost to all teams in the league this week.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 1

Peyton Manning Den - QB 2013 vs. Baltimore 27–for-42 passing, 462 yards, 7 TD passes, 0 INTs Peyton Manning announced his record-breaking intentions with authority to open the '13 campaign, throwing for seven touchdowns against the Ravens, tying an NFL-record that hadn't previously been accomplished since 1969.

His 462 passing yards were also the second-best mark of his storied career, helping produce a fantasy performance that will go down as one of the greatest performances by a signal-caller to date, with only a Michael Vick explosion against Washington on November 15th, 2010 ranking ahead of it. An interesting side note to Peyton's monster Week 1 effort was that little brother Eli Manning put forth the second-best QB performance, throwing for 450 yards and four touchdowns at Dallas.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
