  • Patriots apparently 'shopping' Aaron Dobson
The MMQB's Albert Breer reports the Patriots are "shopping" Aaron Dobson.

Advice: They're shopping him because he'll be cut if/when they can't find a trade partner. Dobson has played over 100 snaps this summer, but has a modest six catches for 96 yards to show for it. Always hurt and mistake-prone, Dobson probably won't fetch a conditional day-three pick. Rotoworld.com 23 minutes ago

DeVante Parker is day to day with an undisclosed injury.

Advice: It's rumored to be to his hamstring. Parker pulled up in Monday's practice, but participated in Tuesday's walk-through. He's sitting out Thursday's preseason finale, but would have done so regardless. Injuries are certainly a concern for the second-year wideout, but this one won't affect his status for Week 1. • Perriman (knee) ready for preseason debut
Breshad Perriman (knee) will make his preseason debut on Thursday.

Advice: It will be the first time the No. 26 overall pick of the 2015 draft has ever played a live snap. Perriman doesn't figure to be on the field for more than a series or two, but the real takeaway is that it confirms he'll be ready for Week 1. That's barring a setback, of course. The Ravens' receiver corps is one of the least settled in the league, but with Perriman so far behind, he isn't worth a late-round flier in 12-team re-draft leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:48 am

Speaking Tuesday, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Josh Doctson (Achilles') still doesn't have "full-speed burst," but will resume practicing "very soon."

Advice: It's basically what we've been hearing from Gruden all summer about his first-round pick. Doctson seems to have no shot at suiting up for Week 1, and can best be clarified as "week to week." He's been battling the still-mysterious issue since June 1. John Brown (concussion/headaches) "couldn't say" Monday whether he'll be ready for Week 1.

Advice: The good news is Brown says this is the first concussion of his life. The bad news is he's endured several setbacks, leaving practice early twice with headaches and missing several more entirely. "I’m just taking it one day at a time," Brown said. Will Fuller caught 3-of-4 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in Houston's third preseason game.

Advice: Assuming he sits out Thursday's preseason finale, Fuller finishes the summer with eight catches for 144 yards (18.0 YPC) and two touchdowns. His fourth target today was a bad drop on what would have been a long gainer, but it was an otherwise mighty impressive performance from the No. 21 overall pick. Fuller was running right by Cardinals DBs (Patrick Peterson was held out), though he did get away with a bit of a push-off on his touchdown. • DeVante Parker has two-catch night vs. ATL
DeVante Parker caught 2-of-4 targets for eight yards in the Dolphins' third preseason game.

Advice: The takeaway is that Parker was operating as the No. 3 receiver, getting shut out of two-receiver sets by Kenny Stills. The third preseason game isn't usually message sending time, so it's quite possible Stills will open the year as a starter with Parker limited to three-wide looks. It's not time to sell all your Parker stock, of course. He's a legitimate playmaker the Dolphins desperately need to make noise on the boundary, but perhaps WR4/5 numbers should be the expectation for September. Advice: Most importantly, Stills played ahead of DeVante Parker in two-receiver sets. The Dolphins are going to be a base-three-receiver team, but Stills' ascension is notable because he's generated minimal buzz in the fantasy community. NBC's Cris Collinsworth noted during Thursday night's game that the Dolphins "are stunned at what a great leader Kenny Stills has turned into." Advice: Perriman was not wearing a brace, but Hensley said he "showed no hesitation" running routes and cutting around cones in individual drills. Hensley did report a "slight limp" when Perriman was walking between drills. Although he is back at practice, coach John Harbaugh admitted the team is still "holding our breath a little bit" about Perriman's health. The receiver should be watched closely over the next several weeks. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:24 am

  • Conditioning is Jordy Nelson's biggest worry
Jordy Nelson (knee) said conditioning is his biggest concern after sitting out all of last season.

Advice: Chemistry would seem to be the biggest concern after Nelson missed last year and likely all of the preseason, but the Packers do not seem to be worried. "He’s such an experienced person that literally like one rep in, he’s going to be back on his feet again," WRs coach Luke Getsy said. "I don’t think we have any issues or thoughts or worries about re-acclimating Jordy into this game." Nelson certainly carries risk as a 31-year-old coming off a serious injury, but he has the upside to finish as the top overall receiver. He is a fine pick in the second round. • Report: Dez Bryant suffered concussion Monday
Dallas 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher reports Dez Bryant suffered a concussion in Monday's practice.

Advice: Fisher reports Dez has already been ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Seahawks, but it is unlikely this issue affects his Week 1 status. Coming off two great performances to open the preseason, Bryant is still a prime bounce-back candidate. He remains safe to draft in the first round. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:43 am

  • Kendall Wright won't play this weekend
Coach Mike Mularkey called Kendall Wright (hamstring) doubtful for the Titans' regular season dress rehearsal.

Advice: The Titans want to get Wright back in practice this week, but he will likely finish August having played no preseason snaps. Wright has been out since early in the month. Tennessee's two-receiver set to open the season is expected to have rookie Tajae Sharp bookending free agent pickup Rishard Matthews. Wright will play the slot when the Titans go to three-receiver packages. Rotoworld.com Monday, 12:50 pm

  • Breshad Perriman (knee) removed from PUP list
Ravens coach John Harbaugh announced WR Breshad Perriman (knee) has been removed from the active/PUP list.

Advice: Perriman had been sidelined since suffering a partially torn ACL in June. Harbaugh sounded pessimistic about Perriman's outlook just one week ago, but the sophomore now appears on track to return early in the season, although Harbaugh added the team is "holding our breath a little bit." Perriman will participate in a walk-through Monday, but he is still not cleared for full practice. After missing all of his rookie year and most of training camp, Perriman is still unlikely to have a large early-season role. Rotoworld.com Aug 22, 8:23 am

  • 'Possible' Doctson opens 2016 on reserve/PUP
According to the Washington Post, "it remains possible" Redskins first-round pick Josh Doctson opens 2016 on the reserve/PUP list.

Advice: Reserve/PUP would cost him the first six games. Battling an Achilles' injury since the early spring, Doctson has yet to practice in training camp. He's supposed to resume running this week. The Post reports the Redskins "remain hopeful" Doctson will return to practice soon and play in their preseason finale, but all of that is up in the air. For fantasy owners with upcoming 10- and 12-team drafts, Doctson should be scratched off cheatsheets. Rotoworld.com Aug 21, 8:06 pm

  • John Brown (concussion) cleared for practice
John Brown (concussion) has been cleared to resume practicing.

Advice: We got mildly concerned as Brown missed nearly three weeks of training camp with the brain injury. He should now have a shot to play in the Cardinals' regular season dress rehearsal next weekend. 26-year-old Brown is coming off a breakout 65-1,003-7 campaign despite nursing hamstring problems for most of 2015. He's arguably the highest-floor fantasy pick in Arizona's wideout corps. Rotoworld.com Aug 21, 1:34 pm

  • Titans hope Wright returns this week
The Titans are hopeful Kendall Wright (hamstring) will resume practicing this week.

Advice: Their target date for return is Wednesday, which is probably too late for Wright to play in the Titans' regular season dress rehearsal. Tennessee's slot receiver, Wright will open the season playing in three-wide sets between Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe. Wright is a low-ceiling, late-round flyer at best. • 1st-rounder Fuller goes 4/73/1 versus Saints
Will Fuller caught 4-of-8 targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game.

Advice: Fuller separated in the end zone to catch a dime from Brock Osweiler on his 19-yard score. The No. 21 overall pick now has five preseason grabs for 78 yards, and has blown by offseason puff-piecer Jaelen Strong on the depth chart. Fuller's hands will almost certainly be an issue as a rookie, but his jets have been as advertised, while he's played poised in exhibition action. He's a WR5 who could blow up for a few big games. • Jordan Matthews says he'll be ready Week 1
Jordan Matthews (knee) told reporters Saturday that he will "for sure" be ready for Week 1.

Advice: This has been the expectation all along. Dealing with a bone bruise on his knee, Matthews will miss the Eagles' regular season dress rehearsal next week, but he plans to get in some practice time before the opener, which would set up Matthews to play in Week 1. Due to the Eagles' wide receiver woes behind him, Matthews has serious target monster potential as a third-year pro. Rotoworld.com Aug 20, 11:08 am

  • Jordy to do individual drills on Monday
Jordy Nelson will participate in individual drills on Monday.

Advice: Activated off PUP last week, Monday will be Nelson's first full workout of training camp. He probably won't see much action in team drills, but this is a critical step as Nelson comes off last year's ACL tear and knee tendinitis to begin training camp. Nelson participated in pre-game warmups ahead of Thursday night's preseason game. He should be near or at 100 percent by Week 1. Rotoworld.com Aug 20, 11:00 am
