    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 8

Calvin Johnson Det - WR 2013 vs. Dallas 14 receptions, 329 yards, TD Until Megatron traveled the equivalent of 3.3 football fields against a woeful Cowboys secondary in Week 8 of '13, it had been more than two decades since a player topped 300 receiving yards in the NFL.

The last player to accomplish the feat (Flipper Anderson, 336 yards on Nov. 26, 1989) still holds the all-time mark for receiving yards in a game, a mere seven yards more than Johnson. Kansas City's Stephon Paige was the first, and only other WR, to top this mark when he went for 309 yards against San Diego in '85. As for Johnson's epic tally, it barely edged out Cincinnati's Marvin Jones for the top WR effort of the week, as Jones posted 122 receiving yards and four touchdowns against the Jets, finishing less than a single fantasy point behind the Lion king.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
