  • Odell Beckham sounding unlikely for Week 1
Coach Tom Coughlin indicated Saturday that the Giants don't anticipate Odell Beckham (hamstring) being ready for Week 1.

Advice: Coughlin said the Giants specifically kept Preston Parker on the 53-man roster to return punts, "because Odell Beckham was going to be the punt returner." When Beckham finally heals up, he'll slide in on punt returns while pushing for snaps in three- and four-receiver sets. For the foreseeable future, the 12th overall pick in May's draft is off the re-draft fantasy radar. Rotoworld.com

  • Seahawks waive WR Bryan Walters
    Seahawks waived WR Bryan Walters.

Advice: Walters was a camp favorite, but fell victim to the numbers game. A fifth-year undrafted free agent, Walters has made eight career appearances, four of which came with the Seahawks last season. He'll search for special-teams work. Rotoworld.com

Browns placed WR Marlon Moore on the reserve/suspended list.

Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell said he believes second-round WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) could play in the regular season opener.

Advice: Robinson missed the entire preseason, but is close to returning to the field. The missed time has allowed UDFA Allen Hurns to pass him on the depth chart. Robinson will be Jacksonville's No. 4 receiver when healthy. Rotoworld.com

Advice: A former Dolphins fourth-rounder, Gates, 28, appeared in six games for the Jets last season, catching 12 passes. Gates annually shines in pad-less practices, but is just about out of regular-season chances. Rotoworld.com

Redskins placed WR Leonard Hankerson (knee) on reserve/PUP.

Advice: Hankerson tore his ACL and LCL in Week 11 of last season. He'll be eligible to return in Week 7, but the fourth-year man is buried on the depth chart. Pierre Garcon, DeSean Jackson and Andre Roberts are the clear-cut top three. Rotoworld.com

  • Greg Little waived for 2nd time in 4 months
    Raiders waived WR Greg Little.

Advice: Little went into the final preseason game needing a big performance to beat out Brice Butler or Andre Holmes. He instead flopped, catching two passes for 10 yards and getting thrown at on an interception. Little, one of the bigger busts of the 2011 draft, has now been waived by two teams in the last four months. Rotoworld.com

Falcons waived WR Geraldo Boldewijn with an injury settlement.

Advice: He missed the preseason finale with a hamstring injury. A native of the Netherlands who played his college ball at Boise State, "Amsterdam" had been featured on this year's Hard Knocks. He'll search for practice-squad work after catching four passes for 59 yards across three preseason games. Already 23, Boldewijn's NFL future isn't bright. Rotoworld.com

  • Packers waive WR Kevin Dorsey
    Packers waived WR Kevin Dorsey.

Advice: The Packers are keeping just Davante Adams and Jeff Janis behind Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, and Jarrett Boykin. Dorsey spent his entire rookie year on injured reserve after being the 224th overall pick in the 2013 draft. He caught 5-of-9 targets for 52 yards this preseason. At 6'1/207, Dorsey runs a 4.47 forty. Rotoworld.com

    Lions waived WR Kris Durham.

Advice: Durham lasted longer in Detroit than anyone expected. The Lions finally upgraded their receiving corps in the offseason. They can finally say goodbye to Durham. He dropped too many passes and has always been a fringe talent. Rotoworld.com

  • Chargers waive/injured WR Vincent Brown
    Chargers waive/injured WR Vincent Brown.

Advice: Brown hasn't practiced since July 25, but is reportedly near full health. The Union-Tribune San Diego reports Brown "won't be on the Chargers' 53-man roster," so it sounds like he could end up getting released with an injury settlement. The No. 82 overall pick of the 2011 draft, Brown was an exciting prospect after catching 19 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie, but was never the same after missing all of 2012 with a broken ankle. Brown moved like a tight end last season as he limped to a 41/472/1 line across 16 games. Rotoworld.com

  • Jags WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) still out
Jaguars second-round WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) remains sidelined, and will sit out Thursday's preseason finale.

Advice: As reporter Ryan O'Halloran points out, five weeks and three days will have elapsed between Robinson's injury and the Jags' opener. That means he should be ready to go, but it's not looking like a guarantee. Robinson has long-term upside, but is off the 2014 re-draft radar. Rotoworld.com

  • Odell Beckham sitting out preseason finale
Odell Beckham (hamstring) will sit out Thursday's preseason finale.

Advice: "I think he's very frustrated," coach Tom Coughlin said Monday. Beckham is highly questionable for Week 1. Considering his health and the state of the Giants' passing attack, Beckham is not worth a late-round flier in re-draft leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Greg Little gets some first-team reps Friday
Greg Little caught one pass for six yards in Friday's preseason game against the Packers.

Advice: Little was Oakland's No. 4 receiver behind James Jones, Rod Streater and Denarius Moore. He got a few first-team reps on Friday, but predictably did very little with them. Through three preseason games, Little has three catches for 54 yards. Rotoworld.com

The New York Daily News believes Odell Beckham (hamstring) looks healthy enough to return to practice next week.

Advice: Beckham suffered a setback on Tuesday and will miss his third straight preseason game. He's been dealing with hamstring issues since OTAs, and has been sidelined for the majority of training camp. The Giants don't believe his latest setback is overly serious. Beckham remains questionable for Week 1. Rotoworld.com
