    • Browns sign Hartley to replace Cundiff
      Browns signed K Garrett Hartley.

Advice: Hartley will replace a struggling Billy Cundiff as the Browns' primary kicker. Hartley went 22-of-30 on field goals with the Saints last year before being cut late in the season. Hartley has made 81.2 percent of his field goal attempts in his career. Rotoworld.com

    • Browns release Cundiff, add Hartley
Browns released K Billy Cundiff (knee) with an injury settlement.

Advice: Cundiff hurt his right, kicking knee in practice on Thursday, but the injury was just a convenient excuse to move on from the struggling kicker. Newly-signed Garrett Hartley will take over the kicking duties for Cleveland. Rotoworld.com

    • Billy Cundiff questionable with a knee injury
Billy Cundiff injured his right, kicking knee during practice on Thursday and is listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Bengals.

Advice: Cundiff was struggling before the injury, so the setback could be a convenient excuse for Cleveland to make a change. The Browns worked out Garrett Hartley, Zach Hocker and Nate Freese earlier in the week. They could also turn to P Spencer Lanning, who kicked in college and made two field goals during the preseason. • Browns work out trio of kickers
The Browns brought in free agent Ks Garrett Hartley, Zach Hocker, and Nate Freese for workouts on Tuesday.

Advice: We're surprised it took Cleveland this long. Billy Cundiff is just 22-of-29 on the season and has missed a field goal in five straight games. Cundiff has come down with a case of the yips. He can't afford another miss. Rotoworld.com

    • Saints working out free agent K Hartley
Free agent K Garrett Hartley worked out for the Saints on Wednesday.

Advice: Shayne Graham missed his second field goal of the season, a 42-yard kick in the Superdome, in last week's blowout loss to the Panthers. Heads have begun to roll in New Orleans. Graham could be the next one out the door. Rotoworld.com

    • Barth retains PK duties, makes a 50-yarder
Connor Barth connected on a 50-yard field goal in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Bills.

Advice: Brandon McManus was brought back to the active roster last week and handled kickoffs. But Barth retained all place-kicking duties, including getting a shot from 50 yards out. He'll obviously keep that job after making it. Barth will be a reasonable fantasy kicking option at San Diego in Week 15. Rotoworld.com

    • Billy Cundiff hurting the Browns with misses
Browns K Billy Cundiff has missed four field goals from 44 yards out or closer over the last five games.

Advice: Given the nearly automatic climate of kicking in today's NFL, Cundiff's shanks should be met with a pink slip. "It's obviously concerning," Coach Mike Pettine said after Sunday's one-point loss to the Colts. "We get field-goal attempts, we get a chance to put points on the board against a good team and you've got to be able to convert." Rotoworld.com
