    Smooth Moves by the HULK

    • With 28.00 points, the Buffalo Bills Defense was the highest-scoring DEF of the week.
    • If this was college, Drew Brees would expect to get a sleeve of helmet stickers. He ranked second in the league in scoring this week with 37.30 points. It was also the second-highest score of any player on the HULK this season.
    • Keenan Allen scored 19.40 points, the eighth-highest WR score in the league this week.
    • Those were the projections? We thought that was the starting point. 6 of the 10 starters on the HULK exceeded their projected points.
    • With 7.30 points versus a projected 3.68, Brent Celek exceeded his scoring projection by 98.4%.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • Remember that thing Numchuckin' Ligers did instead of reading the expert articles from the Hall Of Fame? Shouldn't have done that.
    • Did not start the Chicago Bears Defense, which scored 25.00 points and beat their projected point total by a team-leading 125.8%.
    • Should have started Dwayne Bowe, who underachieved, but still had the most points of any WR on the team with 5.70 against a projected 9.27.
    • Pierre Garcon has now failed to reach his projection for four straight games. This week he scored 4.90 points versus a projected 7.99.
    • The best offense is a good defense. Numchuckin' Ligers got beat 28.00 - 5.00 by the HULK at the DEF position.

    What If

    • If the HULK played Numchuckin' Ligers every week, they would be 2-10 this season.
    • Besides Numchuckin' Ligers, the HULK would have defeated three other teams this week.
    • If they played the same schedule as Numchuckin' Ligers, the HULK would be 2-8.
    • If the HULK had played every team in the league each week, they would be 21-87.
    • Besides the HULK, Numchuckin' Ligers would have been defeated by five other teams this week.
    • Timing really is everything. the HULK would have lost to Numchuckin' Ligers 129.80 - 112.80 had they played each other last week.
    • If they played the same schedule as the HULK, Numchuckin' Ligers would be 6-4.
    • If they played every team every week, Numchuckin' Ligers would be 68-40.

    Game Notes

    • Maybe the league is colluding against them. All three of the losses for Numchuckin' Ligers this season have come when their opponent scores higher than their season average.
    • the HULK scored 135.60 points against a projected 113.25 and beat their scoring projection for the sixth time this season, including the last five weeks in a row.
    • The tragedy of being an underachiever is that Numchuckin' Ligers knows what they should be, but reality keeps telling them that they're wrong. They scored 127.26 points against a projected 134.86 and underachieved for the sixth time this season, including the last three weeks in a row.
    • The win by the HULK snapped a three-game losing streak.
    • At 8.34 points, the margin of victory was the tightest of the week.
    • Numchuckin' Ligers saw their six-game win streak come to an end.
    • Not going to name names, but some people here aren't pulling their weight. Forget it, Vernon Davis needs to step it up! He scored 3.60 points against a projected 7.28 in the win, and has now scored below his projection in eight straight games.
    • the HULK remains undefeated in upset games this season, improving to 3-0.

Fred Taylor JAC - RB 2000 vs. Pittsburgh 33 touches, 248 total yards, 4 TDs Fred Taylor earned the nickname "Fragile" because of the frequency of which he would land on the NFL injury report.

But when he was healthy, he was a sight to behold. And the pinnacle of his career was in Week 12 of '12, when he rolled up the Pittsburgh defense for 248 yards and four touchdowns. For fantasy owners, it was an amazing time to own the Jacksonville back. After sitting out the first three games of that season (we mentioned that he was fragile, right?), he returned to post modest numbers in his his three games back in the lineup. But his 10 game run to close out the '00 campaign is the stuff of legend. From Weeks 7-16, Taylor went straight games with at least 100 rushing yards. And over the final seven games of the season, he amassed a whopping 13 TDs, including a hat trick+1 in Week 12 and another hat trick (and 181 rushing yards) two weeks later.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
