Owen Daniels is out indefinitely after having his knee scoped on Friday.

Advice: The Ravens are only saying Daniels will be out "at least one game," but he's much likelier to miss more. It's another big blow to OC Gary Kubiak's offense, which already lost Dennis Pitta for the season. Mostly a blocker to this point in Kubiak's offense, third-round rookie Crockett Gillmore will now take over as the Ravens' starting tight end, perhaps with FB Kyle Juszczyk and/or WR Marlon Brown taking on bigger roles in the passing game. Coach Chuck Pagano was "noncommittal" Wednesday when asked who will start in place of Reggie Wayne (elbow) against the Steelers.

Advice: Donte Moncrief played more Week 7 snaps than Hakeem Nicks, who has appeared done and then some while seeing decreased playing time in recent weeks for Indy. Third-round pick Moncrief offers a lot more big-play ability and upside at this stage of their respective careers. We're guessing Pagano's refusal to name Nicks the starter hints Moncrief has a real chance to get the nod. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Gerhart is practicing on a limited basis this week and said he feels "pretty good" after taking the last two weeks off. However, his role is more uncertain than ever after Denard Robinson put a 22-127-1 line on the Browns last week. "I think we'll continue to mix and match a little bit," said OC Jedd Fisch. "I don't know exactly how that will all play out yet." We'd expect Robinson to start, but he's going to find the sledding very tough against an excellent Dolphins front. He could also slap one with the franchise tag. • Reggie Bush's ankle bothered him on Sunday
Coach Jim Caldwell said Reggie Bush's ankle was bugging him during Sunday's win over the Saints.

Advice: Bush finished with just nine touches against his old team and didn't play very much in the second half at all. It appears his ankle wasn't as close to 100 percent as it seemed coming into this one. The Lions have a flight to London Monday for a Week 8 game against the Falcons. Rotoworld.com

Martellus Bennett caught five passes for 58 yards in the Bears' Week 7 loss to the Dolphins.

Advice: Bennett was targeted eight times on the afternoon in a typical day at the office. After his torrid start, Bennett hasn't scored in the past four games. He'll be a low-end TE1 option next week on the road against the Patriots. Rotoworld.com

Hakeem Nicks had no catches on one target in Sunday's win over the Bengals.

Jimmy Graham caught 0-of-2 targets in the Saints' Week 7 loss to the Lions.

Advice: Graham played around 30 snaps in the game, but was never a factor. His first target did not come until the first drive of the fourth quarter. Thankfully, Graham did not appear to suffer any setbacks during the game. His status will be updated when the Saints resume practicing on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Pettigrew lumbers to 28 yards on four catches
Brandon Pettigrew caught 4-of-6 targets for 28 yards against the Saints Week 7.

Advice: Pettigrew was thrust into a larger passing-game role with Eric Ebron (hamstring) and Joseph Fauria (ankle) sidelined. He was his usual self, catching short passes and then quickly falling down. Even if Ebron and Fauria are out next week, Pettigrew will be nothing but a very low-ceiling TE2 against the Falcons. • Starks goes 7/36/1 before tweaking ankle
James Starks rushed seven times for 36 yards and a touchdown in Green Bay's Week 7 rout of the Panthers, but left early with a tweaked ankle.

Advice: He also caught a seven-yard pass. Starks went down late in the third quarter, but almost certainly could have continued running were the Pack not running away with the game. He remained on the sideline in his helmet, which is almost always an indication a player could check back in. Starks continued to rotate with Eddie Lacy before going down, getting three series to himself. Starks cut back on his 13-yard score in the first quarter, displaying excellent vision. It was clear Lacy remained the 1A, however. Starks is a touchdown-dependent RB3, albeit one who should get plenty of scoring opportunities in Green Bay's elite offense. Rotoworld.com

  • Reggie Bush totals 32 totals yards against NO
Reggie Bush rushed four times for 10 yards and added five catches for 22 yards against the Saints Week 7.

Advice: Bush seemed to be hobbled by his ankle injury at various times in the game, and was out-snapped heavily by Joique Bell in the second half. Despite being limited, Bush drew a crucial pass interference penalty on fourth-down on the Lions' final drive. Matthew Stafford hit Corey Fuller for the game-winning touchdown three plays later. Bush has another week to get fully healthy, and should be great PPR play against the Falcons horrible defense in London next week. Rotoworld.com

Kenny Britt was forced from Sunday's Week 7 game against the Seahawks with an ankle injury.

Advice: Britt was hurt while getting tackle on the second play of the game, a minus-two yard reception. As the third or fourth option in the passing game, Britt was a low-upside WR5 play to begin with. Stedman Bailey will pick up the reps. Rotoworld.com

FOX's Jay Glazer said the plan is for Jimmy Graham (shoulder) to play roughly 30 snaps in Sunday's game at Detroit.

Advice: Graham was averaging 60.7 snaps through the first four weeks of this season. The play count is a rough estimate and could fluctuate based on how he's feeling and situations. As previously reported, Graham's main packages will be in the red zone and on clear passing downs. Note that he needed to take an injection Sunday morning to get through the pain in his shoulder. Jimmy Graham (shoulder) is officially active for the Saints' Week 7 matchup with the Lions.

Advice: Graham is clearly less than 100 percent, and will likely be nothing more than a red-zone and third-down option against Detroit. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jimmy Graham (shoulder, questionable) plans to play, but won't start Week 7 against the Lions.

Advice: In other words, the Saints will use Graham in red-zone packages. He'll test the shoulder in pre-game warmups before making a final decision. Owners can pray for a touchdown, but he's unlikely to see much, if any, action between the 20s. But this is Jimmy Graham. If he suits up, he needs to be in lineups. Advice: Pettigrew has five receptions in six games this season as Eric Ebron and Joseph Fauria have served as the pass-catching tight ends. • Graham to be a red-zone player if active?
The New Orleans Times-Picayune suggests Jimmy Graham (shoulder, questionable) could be a situational red-zone player if active Sunday.

Advice: We've seen the Saints do this with Graham before, as recently as last season when he often played limited snaps while battling foot and elbow injuries. He was still dominant, closing the season with six touchdowns in the last six games despite playing on just 69.2 percent of the snaps during that span. The bottom line is that if Graham suits up Sunday, he has to be in lineups regardless of role. "It's an injury. It's just like all the other ones I've ever had," he said, reiterating his status as a true game-time call. "It's painful, but we'll see. Maybe in two days I'll feel better." Rotoworld.com

The best news is, Decker looked 100 percent healthy, and now has 10 days to rest his troublesome hamstring for Week 8 against the Bills. The Lions have no plans to increase Brandon Pettigrew's role as a pass catcher.

That, of course, is how the Lions drew up it when they spent their first-round pick on Eric Ebron and brought back Pettigrew to block.
