    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • G-Men should get prescription glasses. At least we assume that's why they didn't bother reading the expert articles from the Toyota Hall Of Fame.
    • It was a poor performance for G-Men at WR, where they were outdone by Yung Dud 78.20 - 28.20.
    • This is how people lose everything in casinos. Yung Dud thought their luck would change and went back to the well with the Green Bay Packers Defense. However, they scored 2.00 points against a projected 18.12 and has now underachieved in three straight games.
    • Who needs offense when the defense is so dominant!? G-Men got outscored 21.30 - 2.00 by Yung Dud at the DEF position.
    • Mike Wallace had two season-lows this week. He scored a season-low 7.90 points and recorded only 59.0% of his 13.40-point projection.

    What If

    • Yung Dud would be 7-1 if they played G-Men every week.
    • Yung Dud would have beaten every other team in the league this week.
    • Were they resting their players for this week? Yung Dud would have defeated G-Men 139.13 - 114.40 had they played each other last week.
    • Yung Dud would be 6-1 if they played the same schedule as G-Men.
    • If Yung Dud had played every team in the league each week, they would be 92-28.
    • Besides Yung Dud, G-Men would have been defeated by 11 other teams this week.
    • If they played the same schedule as Yung Dud, G-Men would be 2-5.
    • G-Men would be 51-69 if they played every team every week.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 8

Calvin Johnson Det - WR 2013 vs. Dallas 14 receptions, 329 yards, TD Until Megatron traveled the equivalent of 3.3 football fields against a woeful Cowboys secondary in Week 8 of '13, it had been more than two decades since a player topped 300 receiving yards in the NFL.

The last player to accomplish the feat (Flipper Anderson, 336 yards on Nov. 26, 1989) still holds the all-time mark for receiving yards in a game, a mere seven yards more than Johnson. Kansas City's Stephon Paige was the first, and only other WR, to top this mark when he went for 309 yards against San Diego in '85. As for Johnson's epic tally, it barely edged out Cincinnati's Marvin Jones for the top WR effort of the week, as Jones posted 122 receiving yards and four touchdowns against the Jets, finishing less than a single fantasy point behind the Lion king.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
